Angkor Wat
Angkor Wat is a temple complex at Angkor, Cambodia, built for the king Suryavarman II in the early 12th century as his state temple and capital city. As the best-preserved temple at the site, it is the only one to have remained a significant religious center since its foundation – first Hindu, dedicated to the god Vishnu, then Buddhist. It is the world's largest religious building. The temple is at the top of the high classical style of Khmer architecture. It is designed to represent Mount Meru, home of the devas in Hindu mythology: within a moat and an outer wall 3.6 kilometers (2.2 mi) long are three rectangular galleries, each raised above the next. At the center of the temple stands a quincunx of towers. Unlike most Angkorian temples, Angkor Wat is oriented to the west; scholars are divided as to the significance of this. The temple is admired for the grandeur and harmony of the architecture, its extensive bas-reliefs and for the numerous guardian spirits adorning its walls.

5.00Visiting Angkor Wat was a truly breathtaking expierence. Our length of our visit was 5 hours and we all felt that was just right. The driver Mr.Heng kept us hydrated and allowed one of our members to stay in the AC van when the heat was too much for her. Our tour guide Sophy was friendly and suggested places to take pictures and even helped us take great group photos. He didn't rush us as we observed our way through the 2 temples.

5.00Vath is awesome!! His knowledge of Angkor Kingdom is absolutely incredible. The detail he is able to explain when walking through the temples made the tour feel like we went back in time. He dropped amazing knowledge all day and that's not even the best part. He has the best photography skills ever.. he knew every single place to stand for the best pictures. I took loads of photos but compared to his photos his were all superior. So he captured memories for us forever. What a great Khmer man! I cannot recommend him enough. Thanks mate

5.00Chose this tour because it was the best priced for a single person and it offered a time I wanted that wasn’t 8am! I throughly enjoyed my tour with Vireak. He was so informative and had so much knowledge about the temples we visited! He was very engaging and we had lovely conversation. He also doubled as my photographer and offered great photo spots! Which was super helpful as a solo traveler.

5.00This was an excellent tour. Not too long but we saw everything we wanted and finished at lunchtime. Phat and the tuk tuk driver were very kind and picked us up so we didn’t have to walk far in the heat. Phat was very well informed and knowledgeable, spoke excellent English and looked after us at all times. We would recommend this tour.

5.00A fun and informative tour with our guide Nak. He knew all the best spots for photos and how to avoid the big tour groups. Nak was an entertaining guide to be with and happy to answer any questions.The tour was well paced and lovely to be offered fragrant wet towels and water from the tuk tuk between temples.

5.00Truly amazing tour led by knowledgeable, friendly and charismatic tour guide Nak. He did not rush us and let us spend as much time as we wanted at each temple. Nak knew exactly where to go, avoiding the large tour groups without missing anything of interest. Truly the perfect tour when staying in Siem Reap.

5.00Had a truly wonderful tour led by the extremely knowledgable and charismatic tour guide Nak. We were not rushed and spent as much time as we wanted at each temple and weren’t sticking to a tight time to end. Nak knew his way around ensuring we weren’t held up behind large groups of people without missing anything. This is an excellent tour and recommend it for those who want to experience the breathtaking temples surrounding Angkor Wat.

5.00Vireak was a fantastic guide who turned a day of exploring temples into a much more memorable experience of both Cambodian history and culture. Vireak is passionate about sharing his country with others and helped us understand both the past and present. At the temples he pointed out inscriptions and carvings we would have otherwise not noticed or understood. Getting a guide to the temples is really needed, at least on the first day. Vireak helped us plan the following day in Siem Reap and was really helpful. I highly recommend him.
