5.00We debated beforehand (via WhatsApp) in detail, about how we'd like to spend our 3 days in/around SIem Reap. Ra had been recommended to us by our neighbours. He turned out to be a very knowledgeable guide, full of good humour and interesting explanations of local culture and daily lives. Several times we made adjustments to the original plan, and this didn't seem to upset him at all. As a result we came away feeling that we had made the most of our 3 days, without feeling exhausted!

5.00We had a great day exploring Angkor Wat with Makara. He’s super friendly, easy to get along with, and really knows his stuff. He explained the history in a way that was interesting and easy to follow without ever feeling like a lecture. What we appreciated most was how he planned everything—timing it to avoid the crowds and showing us some really good photo spots. It made the whole experience feel much more relaxed and enjoyable. He was also very flexible with the pace and made sure we were comfortable throughout the day, which we really appreciated in the heat. Would definitely recommend booking with Makara if you want a personal and enjoyable Angkor Wat experience!
