2.0I did this tour on my first full day in Siem Reap, and it was pretty disappointing. On the bright side, I got air conditioned transportation and an endless supply of cold water. But I feel like that's the only thing of value I paid for. First, it's a sunrise tour - but our guide made us leave the sunrise spot before sunrise had really happened! Why did I wake up that early, just to only watch a partial sunrise? Also, we did not go to Banteay Kdei, even though it's on the itinerary. And the guide's explanations were so-so - I and many others in my group ended up choosing to wander the temples solo as the day went on. I'm glad I got the three-day pass so I could go back to Angkor and see things on my own terms.

4.0Pickup a little too early (4:20a) and pickup was delayed because the guide/driver were provided wrong hotel by tour operator. Had to stop for people to buy park passes while those of us who purchased online had to wait. Would have been better if that was avoided. Tour guide Sam was great and did best to get us to beat the crowds. Plenty of Water provided. Lunch stop seemed forced tho guide emphasized that we did not need to buy anything. Would have rather kept going. History lessons were impressive but were hard to follow.

5.0The sunrise tour is not to be missed! We were lucky to get a clear day and our guide Sok found the perfect viewpoint for seeing the sunrise. We thought the four temples got more and more interesting as the day went on, despite starting with the most famous. Sok was very knowledgeable and passionate about Ankhor history, and breakfast came at just the right time. Thank you!
