Nepal Horizon Trek & Expedition Airport Representative will meet you outside the airport terminal hall. Please, look for our airport trek & expedition play card. You will be transferred to the hotel and introduced to your trekking guide. Stroll around the bustling city of Thamel in the evening.
Day 02:Kathmandu: Sightseeing and preparation for the trek (1,300m/4,264ft)

After breakfast, we proceed for exploration tour to cultural and religious sites in Kathmandu. We explore the UNESCO world heritage sites: Pashupatinath Temple – the holiest temple located on the bank of sacred Bagmati River, Swayambhunath (2,000 years old monkey temple), Boudnath Stupa – the biggest Stupa architecture in the world! Patan Durbar Square (oldest city in Kathmandu valley with ancient culture and tradition). The sightseeing tour also covers Durbar Square, the Krishna Temple, the Kumbheswore temple, the golden temple and many more.
Day 03:Drive from Kathmandu – Pokhara (910m/2,986ft) – 5 – 6 hour drive

After morning, we drive via private car to Pokhara through the spectacular countryside and follow the down steam of Trishuli River. Trishuli River is famous river rafting for travelling with family & beginner. Upon arrival at Pokhara, we will be transferred to the hotel at Pokhara. Free afternoon in Pokhara.
Day 04:Drive to Nayapul and trek to Ulleri (1,950m/6,395ft) via Tikhedhunga (1,495m/4,905ft) – 3 – 4 hours trek.

Pokhara
After breakfast, drive along the zigzag route to Nayapul, the starting point of the trek. We trek to Birethanti – a large riverside village located at the confluence of the Modi and Bhurungdi Kholas. Next we climb above to Sudame along the off road and then rise gradually up to the side of the valley to Tikhedhunga. Now we move head and cross suspension metal bridge to make steep climb on a stone staircase to reach the village of Ulleri. It is amazing landscape of valley floor which exhibits the amazing view of Annapurna South and Hiunchuli.
Day 05:Tikhedhunga – Ghorepani (2,850m/9,35ft) – 5 – 6 hours trek

After breakfast, we continue our trekking through the dense forest of rhododendron and oak. The spectacular scenery around will energize you to continue taking up the steps. After couple of hours walk and several breaks, we reach Ghorepani. Upper Ghorepani (Deurali) exhibits the mesmerizing views of Dhaulagiri and the Annapurna Himalayan range.
Day 06:Hike to Poon Hill (3,210m/10,528ft) and trek back to Nayapul. Drive back to Pokhara ( – 6 – 7 hours then trek

After early morning breakfast, we hike up for 45 minutes to reach Poon Hill (3210m/10530ft). This scenic uphill route offers the fascinating glimpse of rhododendron forest. As reach the grassy summit of Poon Hill, we get the unobstructed view of sunrise over the high Himalayas and panoramic view of Dolpo to the far western region, Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurnas, Machhapuchhre (fish tail) and Manaslu. After some magical moments in Poon Hill, we trek downhill to Nayapul. Here we catch a private vehicle to take short drive back to Pokhara.
Day 07:Pokhara – Kathmandu (1300m/4,264ft) – 5 – 6 hour drive

After morning breakfast, we drive back to Kathmandu via same route we used previously. Upon arrival, we dive back to hotel and take our time to rest and refresh. We enjoy the free day or catch up on some last minute shopping or explore any physical landmarks. In the evening, we attend farewell dinner hosted by Nepal Horizon Treks & Expedition in typical Nepali restaurant with cultural shows.
Day 08:Departure
Kathmandu
It’s your last day in Nepal! Take some breakfast and if you wish, you can catch last-minute shopping Kathmandu. Our airport representative will transfer you to airport with plenty time before your flight home. Farewell!!

5.00We had a wonderful 3-day trek to Poon Hill, and it was all thanks to our guide, Kumar. He was very kind, patient, and always made sure we were safe and comfortable throughout the journey. The first day was quite challenging with many stairs, but he adjusted the pace to match us and encouraged us along the way. We really appreciated how he paid attention to our condition and made us feel at ease. Even when we got tired on the way down, he handled everything calmly and helped us arrange transportation smoothly. Thanks to him, we were able to fully enjoy the beautiful scenery and complete the trek with great memories. We truly recommend him to anyone visiting Nepal！

5.00We did a 3-day Ghorepani–Poon Hill trek with Kumar, and it was one of the best parts of our honeymoon. He was kind, knowledgeable, and really took care of us as beginners—always setting a comfortable pace and keeping us motivated. When my wife had some trouble with her leg, he quickly arranged a jeep, which we really appreciated. The views, sunrise, and food were all amazing, but what made the trip special was Kumar. If we come back to Nepal, we’d definitely go with him again.

5.00The hiking trail was very nice and characterized by different landscapes. Mountains, (primal) forests, rivers, waterfalls. Most of the trails were easy to find. We could hardly get lost;) Our guide Razul was always nice, helpful and answered many questions about life in Nepal and took many photos of us! Very happy to come back!

5.00Phenomenal trek, especially considering the time of year which was the rainy season. Raju was an excellent guide who kept us on time and even helped carry a bag or two when times got tough for our group of 6. Overall, wonderful experience and excellent guide. Would book again!

5.00Raju, our guide was so amazing. He made sure that we were fully fed and had individual rooms. He made sure that everyone could walk with his pace, and that we made it to our destination on time. It was way way better than I expected.

5.00Went on an 8 day hike to Annapurna base camp and Poon Hill. Was way better than expected and our guide Raju was excellent. He looked out for our every need and was very helpful with all our questions - some of which would definitely have seemed odd! Honestly I can’t put into words how great the trip was and particularly Raju. Would highly recommend doing this hike - especially with Raju!
