After breakfast, we ascend to the Ghorepani village. The name Ghorepani in Nepali means ‘horse-water’ due to it being an important campsite for traders before it became a trekker’s stop. We stop at the higher part of the Ghorepani village that offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains including Annapurna South and Nilgiri mountains. Unforgettable Poon Hill Trek with Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure We recently completed the Poon Hill Himalayan Trek, and it was truly an authentic and unforgettable experience. Led by Bishnu from Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure, everything about the trip exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, Bishnu and his team made us feel completely at ease. Their honesty, trustworthiness, and attention to detail were evident throughout. The itinerary was tailor-made to suit our pace and interests, and they remained flexible whenever we needed adjustments. The accommodation along the trek was surprisingly comfortable, and the food was consistently good—especially considering how remote some of the locations were. We always felt well taken care of. What really stood out was the value we got. For such a high-quality, well-organized trip, it was very reasonably priced. Bishnu’s deep knowledge of the region and genuine care for his clients made a huge difference. If you’re considering trekking in Nepal, we totally recommend Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure. This journey wasn’t just a trek—it was a memory we’ll cherish forever.
