After exploring those incredible venues you will join our 2-hour walking tour about the fascinating life of Anne Frank, with a professional guide who will show you how Amsterdam was like during World War II, through the eyes of Anne Frank.
This product offers two separate things: Visiting the venues of the Jewish Cultural Quarter at your own pace (The entrance tickets to these venues are valid for one entire week) and a walking tour with live guide at the designated time, which start in front of the Jewish Museum (English guide) and Portuguese Synagogue (Italian, Spanish, French and German guide)

Portugese Synagoge
In the heart of the old Jewish neighbourhood stands the Portuguese Synagogue. The biggest synagogue in the world when it was built in the 17th century. Jews still worship here to this day, but whenever this wonderful building isn’t being used for services it’s open for you to visit. Everyone is welcome. Whether you’re Jewish or not. A visit to the Portuguese Synagogue is a breathtaking experience. Everything has been kept just as it was in the 17th century. Instead of electric lights, the synagogue is lit by hundreds of candles.

5.00Perfect visit, our guide, Angie, took us for 2 hours into the history of the city and the Second World War with passion, making the moment captivating for adults and children alike! Anne Frank’s story reminds us how important it is to remember the horror of that time but also the strength of this young girl, who managed to escape through writing! We also discovered the other family members, his father's associates and the 2 secretaries who acted for 2 years with so much generosity. Thank you again to Angie for this 2 hours sharing!
