Millions of people travel to Amsterdam to see where the Frank family hid from the Nazis. In this guided tour, we retrace part of the route Anne took on her journey to the hiding place.

Travelling back in time to WWII Amsterdam, we'll learn about Anne's life & the ‘secret annex’ and experience Anne’s emotions during the dark days of war.

The tour ends in a cafe where you have a drink & enter the Secret Annex via a virtual reality recreation (made by the Anne Frank Foundation). Entering the hiding place through the bookcase, you'll see that unlike the actual house, the VR house still has furniture, giving a feel of how it was to live there in 1942-44.

There’s no crowds, you have the virtual Anne Frank house to yourself to explore at your own pace. This is as close to the real thing as you can get, without stepping foot in the house. Ideal for those who can’t get tickets or access to the Annex.

We really enjoyed the visit. The experience is with few people, which is great. Kaise, who was our guide, had a good sense of humor and shared interesting details during the experience. The virtual tour of the house enriches the experience.

When first booking this tour, you may think it's a little on the expensive side, but for what you get out of it, it totally isn't. Michael, our tour guide was very welcoming and quickly made us all feel at ease. It was a very small group of 4, which was nice as we could walk along the streets effortlessly and ask any questions with ease. Michael is extremely knowledgeable and throws in a little humour here and there. There is some walking, which is to be expected, but at the end we were taken into a small cafe where we were offered a drink/biscuit and then started the virtual tour. This was very interesting and made us feel we were actually in the rooms to witness a little of what it would have been like, living there at that time. All in all a great experience and we would definitely recommend booking this tour.

The walking tour to Anne frank was delightful. The VR experience was part of it and is interesting. Kees was a very good story teller. Highly recommend to join in the walking tour and enjoy the story telling.

Kees is a humorous tour guide with entertaining stories. It is good to have a walking tour as it gives you a chance to experience the city as well.

The guide, Kees, was very knowledgeable and spoke well. We walked but it was not too far. The virtual tour of the house was great with all the original furniture in place.
