Pirate Museum of Antananarivo
The Rova of Antananarivo is the former royal palace of Madagascar. It is located at an altitude of 1462 m on the highest elevation of the capital, the Analamanga, and is thus almost 200 m above the quarters of the lower city. ( Entrance 10 000 Ariary )
The Royal Mound of Ambohimanga in the province of Antananarivo Avaradrano on Madagascar was the seat of the Merina kings until 1794 and the burial place of the kings of Madagascar until 1897. It has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2001. ( Entrance 10 000 Ar )

5.00Nathan picked me up at my hotel and we took a taxi downtown for the tour. He was a very informative and entertaining tour guide. I learned a lot and the time sped by. He even made arrangements with our taxi driver to drive out of the way back to my hotel so I could pick up some specific vanilla to take home as a present. All in all, an excellent tour.

5.00My excellent tour guide, Lanto, is a third year tourism major university student. She takes me around town from my hotel all the way to the Queen Palace, visiting a few landmarks along the way. It is a fun filled tour to see Antananarivo before flying out to see the country. Highly recommended.
