Travel through one of the most biodiverse stretch of highway from Flagstaff at 7000 feet, the Navajo Nation, and the red rocks of Glen Canyon before arriving at Horseshoe Bend
Horseshoe Bend
Next, it's off to Horseshoe Bend. Take an approximate 0.75-mile (1.2-km) hike that brings you to one of the best overlooks. At a point not far downstream from the Glen Canyon Dam, the Colorado River meanders around a rock promontory, creating the horseshoe-shaped loop beloved by visitors and photographers from around the world. As you approach the edge, take in the wonderful view. Please note: You'll hike a total of 2 miles (3.2 km); comfortable walking shoes are strongly recommended.

5.00Traveling during their low season was great, more flexible schedule. Our drive/guide, Sam, was fantastic! So knowledgeable about the tribes, geology, hiking trails, places to visit and eat. The company partnered with Dixie’s (Navajo) to access the slot canyon. Groups of 15 people. Eli, our guide, shared history of this land/canyon; helped us take awesome pictures; played his Navajo Flute in the canyon (beautiful music).

4.00Antelope Canyon amazing. But trading post / dam are mediocre at best. Horseshoe bend awesome. Too long of a drive from flagstaff - 2 hours to antelope canyon even with one stop. Alex was our tour guide- good guy but very boring For such a ling drive would be nice to have more interaction amd less monotonous information

5.00What an amazing place! And, the dam and Horseshoe bend were great to see Our guides were terrific and lunch was good. A long day but so worth it! Tennis shoes work just fine for the walking.

5.00Had an awesome day with our guide Alex. He was very knowledgeable and easy going. The rest stops along the way were clean and appreciated. The main attractions, Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon were absolutely amazing and easy to walk even for those that are a little physically challenged. Navajos guide at Antelope was excellent and really went the extra mile.

5.00First let me say thank you to Grand Canyon Tours and our guide Scott. This was an amazing trip from start to finish. My family and I enjoyed it so much. The lunch was delicious and we had plenty of snacks, water and sodas. We wasn’t expecting pasta salad and fruit but my family stated how great it was. Overall, I would recommend this trip.

5.00I went with my 2 sisters on Sunday, October 5. Sam was our guide, and she was fantastic! Very funny, friendly and knowledgeable. We learned so much on our drive. Sam knew so much about the geology and history of what we saw around us. First stop was Horseshoe Bend. It was a long walk, but we did not feel rushed to get there and back. We had a picnic lunch at the Lake Powell Dam. Next was Antelope Canyon, in the Navajo reservation. Sam handed us off to our Navajo guide, who led us through the incredible sandstone canyon. You do need to be somewhat agile as there are very narrow passageways, and some steep stairs. It was an incredible experience. Then back into the van with Sam for the return trip. She continued to entertain us with her great personality, and educated us with her vast knowledge of the surroundings. It was a fantastic experience and would give it 10 stars if I could!

5.00The tour is incredible! Our tour guide for the day, Danya, was knowledgeable, friendly, and a great historian! Seeing Horseshoe Bend was great and Antelope Canyon is incredible. Well worth the trip!
