Located southeast of Lower Antelope canyon by the gateway town of Page, AZ. The slot canyon is chiseled out by millions of years’ worth of flood erosion and impactful winds on its sandstone, enough to sculpt out the iconic "X" shape that aptly named the canyon. Antelope Canyon X is a relatively new scenic tour and the lesser-known cousin of Upper/Lower Antelope Canyon, which results in fewer visitors, and a less-crowded experience.
Antelope Canyon X is an impressive mixture of both A-shaped and V-shaped slot canyon walls. Antelope Canyon X is one of the deepest sections of the slot canyon, offering amazing photo opportunities. It truly is a great vacation spot for photography and an incredible slot canyon experience.

We were in awe of the photos we got! Beauty at every turn! Michael, our tour guide was phenomenal! He led us to where we could capture the light and see the beauty in the striations of the canyon! He was so helpful in taking photos for us... highly recommend this tour and Michael!!!

The excursion was well organized. We walked through 2 slot canyons. We were a group of about 17 people. We rode a nice van to the site. Then had a downhill walk for about 10 minutes to the canyon base. The walk through the canyon was really nice. The hike back out was slightly hard, but manageable for most individuals. There was a small ATV that came down to retrieve anyone that had difficulties with walking up an incline. Our tour guide, Tommy, was really nice and friendly too. The excursion price was great too. Did not break the bank.

I arrived more than an hour early because I thought the tour time was in MT since that area is but they don't use it, however they were kind enough to let me join an earlier tour (it was only me) My tour guide was personable and played a drum which made the tour so much more beautiful. At the end he taught us a short indigenous dance. He was funny and took great pictures. (I think his name was Tommy) Our driver Joe was also very sweet. We had lots of fun.

The canyon itself is breathtaking. Our tour guide told us it was her 5th tour of the day… and she made it very obvious. Not friendly… seemed like she was rushing us… we paid an insane amount of $$for this and the tour guide makes such a difference. They also made such a stink about car seats for big kids… and didnt let water backpacks in because they have a rule against backpacks. Seriously!?!? We almost died from heatstroke carrying around tiny water bottles. It’s not like they checked our pockets for any threats…. Just this really inconvenient rule in 120 degree weather….i would recommend the tour but with a different, more friendly company
