Discover the best of Antigua on this ATV tour! We start at the famous Cerro de la Cruz, offering incredible views of the city and surrounding volcanoes. Then, we head to El Hato, where we park our ATVs and hop on a 4x4 truck that takes us up to Hobbitenango, a magical eco-park inspired by The Lord of the Rings. After enjoying the views and activities, we ride the truck back down to El Hato, get back on our ATVs, and continue to San Juan del Obispo. There, we visit an artisanal chocolate, wine, and honey factory. Stunning views, local culture, and adventure all in one tour!

Cerro de la Cruz
¨El Cerro de la Cruz¨ one of the best known attractions / sites in the city of Antigua. At the ¨Cross¨ we get a birds eye view of Antigua and the wonderful architecture of the city not to mention the Volcanoes. Once finished taking wonderful pictures and walking around the Cross.

5.00The tour was well run. We had a delay in our departure because someone in the group was late. However it didn’t seem to affect the tour. The guide Estuardo (Tuey) took great care of us, making sure we were all together on the road at all times. There were a couple people in our group who needed a little more attention and he did great. His English was good, but not great, which for me didn’t affect the enjoyment of the tour. He was very nice and I could tell putting in a lot of effort to ensure everyone had a great time. I found the ATV rides from one area to the next very exciting and u like anything I have experienced. It was interesting to see how the locals drive (like crazy!!) and also how the locals live outside of the town of Antigua. My husband really enjoyed Hobbitenango and I thought an hour there was plenty. The lunch and chocolate tour felt very authentic (I think we were in San Juan del Obispo? But no one really said). Great trip!

5.00This adventure was amazing! Our guide looked after us. He was so professional. Explaining everything along the way. The ATV ride went smoothly. We had a quick lesson on how to operate the machinery. I will recommend them 100%. I will definitely bring my family back here next year to do this tour again and Lake Atitlan. Well worth what we paid and more.

5.00Great fun, great guide and very well organised. We covered a lot of ground to view Antigua from the mountains, visiting Hobbitenango and joining a chocolate- making workshop in a local village. Great to see the less touristy parts of the city and beyond. All very interesting though a shame there were clouds covering the volcanoes. Felt totally safe and well looked after throughout.

5.00Really great tour. Our guide was excellent with hand gestures for what we needed to do while riding and was also very informative at each stop. The mountain adventure tour had great locations to stop at and beautiful sites to see. Highly recommend!

5.00Probably one of the best ATV tours I’ve ever done. It was perfect because you get to experience a lot of things in Antigua that you would probably have on your to do list. Erick was amazing!! He was really friendly and fun, making sure everyone was safe and having a great time. Erick provided a bunch of recommendations for local coffee shops, bars, and restaurants. Highly recommend this if you are visiting Antigua.

5.00Excellent tour from start to finish. Very well organized and Jonny, our guide, was brilliant. The tour took us through Antigua and up into the surrounding hills and was a great experience. Hobbitenango was fun to visit and this tour is the ideal way to go. We also visited San Juan del Obispo where we had a great lunch and a chocolate tour. Would highly recommend Simoon Tours, super friendly and very professional.

5.00The ATV Mountain tour was great! We had Alex as our guide with a helper whose name I can’t recall, sorry. They were both very attentive, friendly and helpful. We had a great day of activities and lots of fun! Hobbitengo, Cerro de la Cruz, chocolate making demonstration with participation, a great lunch spot, ATV driving around Antigua and then up into a little village at the base of Agua Volcano. Lots of lovely views and great, easy ATV rides. After we did the ATV Pacaya tour and we definitely recommend that one too. Simoon tours in Antigua were great.
