This is the best activity you can do in the afternoon in Antigua. This tour will take you to 3 mountain tops with incredible views of the city, valley, and volcanoes near and around Antigua. Our first stop is ¨El Cerro de la Cruz ¨ Antigua’s famous lookout point known as ¨The Cross¨. After getting a close-up aerial view of the colonial city, we hop back on the vehicles and head up the El Hato Mountain towards our Second stop. We arrive at our parking lot in El Hato where we hop into our 4*4 pick-up truck which takes us to the ¨HOBBITENANGO¨.

This is a lord of the rings themed Eco-Park where we catch the Sunset and are able to enjoy some food, drinks, and games. Here we will go up the hill and sightsee, enjoy great views and various activities in this enchanted little forest. Once, finished we will head back down the mountain where if you are hungry we can grab some food and drinks at a Guatemalan restaurant located on the side of the mountain called El Tambor.

This was such a fun trip and very affordable. The tour guides were very nice and knowledgeable. I appreciated that they took the time to explain everything and were very cautious while on the ride with hand signals.

Yesterday I was lucky enough to join the Sunset Quad Tour around Antigua, and I can’t help but say it was an incredible experience! The route was truly breathtaking, with stunning views you won't soon forget. From the vast landscapes to the impressive volcanoes in the distance, it was a visual spectacle. Our guide, Alex, was absolutely top notch. He spoke perfect English and not only had a huge knowledge of the area, but also made sure we always felt at ease. He made great videos and photos for us along the way, so we could capture these magical moments and reminisce for a long time. One of the highlights of the tour was the enchanting Hobbiton-like area, "Hobitenago". It really felt like you were in another universe. The nature and atmosphere there were extraordinary, and it was a great place to take a break and enjoy the moment. In short, the Sunset Quad Tour was an adventure I highly recommend to everyone! Whether you love adventure, want to see beautiful nature or just want to do something unique in Antigua, this is definitely a must-do.

This experience is worth every penny! Eric was AMAZING. You can tell he loves what he does. We had two families in our group, both with small children. He made sure that we were all going to take safety seriously. The views on this tour were nothing short of perfect. It’s a short walk from the meeting space to the ATV pick up. He will give you thorough instructions on the operation of the ATV. The tour begins with the viewpoint of the cross where you can see all of Antigua and the Volcán de Agua. There is time for pictures and sight seeing. I don’t want to spoil the fun… ALL of the viewpoints are amazing. Hobbitenango is also great. There are restaurants, games, souvenirs shops and AMAZING VIEWS. BRING WARM CLOTHING! The temperature really drops and it cools down so bring warm attire and some sunglasses as well. Don’t miss out and book this now!

This was such a fun experience. I’m so glad I did it. The locations were beautiful and driving an ATV throughout Antigua was a lot of fun. We didn’t see the sunset due to the weather but even this it was still a lot fun.

Ethan was our tour guide and he was absolutely amazing! He explained everything to us as we went to each leg of the tour. It’s is truly indescribable how majestic and beautiful the views and people were. I’d do it again in a heartbeat.

Antonio was amazing and kind. He really took the time to explain how to drive the ATVs and explained the history of how el volcán de agua took out a town while at el Cerro de Cristo. Hobbitenango was magical. If you’re a Lord of the Rings gang, YOU MUST GO! 10 out of 10 recommend.
