• Phenomenal Experience!!

  We have two adopted children from Antigua. This was the first time we have all been back since bringing them home to the U.S. To say our trip was spectacular is an understatement. Helmuth and staff were so helpful from beginning to end. We had flight delays and our 20 year old son and friends arrived before us. There was a driver waiting for them. They dropped them off at the beautiful villa that Helmuth had suggested we rent while in Guatemala. The kids hiked the volcano. The driver was there promptly to take them and pick them up. The tour was amazing! We spent ; days in Antigua and 4 days in Ixtapa at the beautiful Oceana resort. Everything was perfect from our transport to the resort and back to Guatemala City for our flight back to the U.S. I would HIGHLY recommend Helmuth and his company. Communication was amazing, as well! We will definitely be back and use this company for everything. If you are looking for a seamless trip, this is who I would recommend! Many thanks, Helmuth! Our trip was unforgettable! We appreciate all that you did for us from recommendations for lodging, restaurants, etc. The kids are still talking about the volcano tour! It was definitely a highlight.

  We visited Guatemala as a family for a week to see the highlights and Helmuth was recommended as a guide. We are so grateful for this recomendation! We got to know the country in its most iconic sites (Antigua Guatemala, lake Atitlan, Tikal etc) accompanied and guided through out all that week. Everything was faultlessly organized (pick up at the airport, excellent accommodations, internal flights, car and boat transfers, visiting sites and guiding) and even alternative routes when necessary. I very much appreciated as well the small local tips shared (ex: a much awarded coffee place in Antigua hidden in a small street, tales about the history of the country etc). Except Guatemala itself (a wonderful county), Helmuth was among the reasons that we much loved the trip and the country and we want to visit again sometime soon.

  Helmut was a fantastic guide and he really gave us an an amazing private walking tour of beautiful Antigua… we recommend him highly. Friendly, knowledgeable, and very laid back. Exactly what we needed for our first morning in Antigua!

  Magnificent experience. Helmut, the guide, gave us not only the old city history but also insights, great advise for drinks and food. He also took us to a placer to get the best sunset and volcano pictures. Hi spent with us the whole afternoon!!! I will recomend him any time!!!

  The easiest way to learn about a culture or a country is by walking directly on its streets, that is precisely what you manage to do on this beautiful tour next to Helmut as a guide, excellent person, highly recommended

  My girls (12 and 16) and I booked this walking tour, and our expectations were greatly exceeded! Helmuth met us at our hotel, was super friendly and personable, and off we went. He is exceedingly knowledgeable about the country and city of Antigua. Any part of the history that we wanted to know was shared and more. We ended the day at a rooftop bar and watched the sunset. Afterwards, he directed us to a great restaurant where we invited him to dinner for authentic Guatemalan food. Awesome experience!

  We took a private tour at mid day. Walking up on a cloudy day was fantastic. Just five minutes to the top it started raining. When reaching the view point we saw the magnificent red lava river streaming down the mountain. Unforgettable experience!

• Very Unique World Heritage City

  The time for this city was way to short. 3-5 days for exploring the city and culture would have the right amount. Out of all the cities and countries we have visited this trip. We would only go back to Antigua. The town square was lively, the buildings magnificent with a Spanish renaissance and baroque period. All this set against the backdrop of three enormous volcanoes.

  Helmuth is friendly, congenial, and knowledgeable. His English is excellent. Helmuth's tour gave us a good understanding of the history, culture, economy, cuisine, and architecture of Antigua de Guatemala...with a touch of chocolate at the end.
