A small and beautiful town located one hour and half from metropolitan area, between elevated mountains, we have an old crater that today is a town of 8000 people. A place loved by many both locals and expats for many reasons.

The town is situated in an old volcano that erupted 1000 years ago, the weather is nice and cozy, the people are friendly, the natural beauty of the town it is what makes it unique and special to so many. It is a quiet place but the villagers are very joyful, welcoming. Walk through a rain forest and appreciate the waterfall, visit the different species of animals there are at the zoo, such as Capuchin monkey, After visiting the waterfall inside of the national park, it is time to refresh your soul and relax, by immersing yourself in the hot spring and with a facial mud mask (optional), and discover the town.

Part of our 6 hour excursion, nice to see so many animals being taken care, all privately funded, so many species here, not a long walk, nice and flat, lots to see, cheers

We had a good time. It was interesting travelling to this village on the western side of Panama and if you have time worth taking a look.

Amazing tour! Hector, our guide, was very knowledgeable and accommodating. My son and I were the only ones on the tour so this non-private tour became a private tour. We appreciated them not cancelling the trip. We saw a lot of animals at the zoo . The botanical garden was disappointing though because it was small. I wish we could have spent more time where the waterfall was and gotten a chance to swim in the natural pool. The hot spring was really nice and worth the long day. Before going back to Panama City, we stopped by the main part of town where we got to shop in the market and buy some Panamanian food. Overall, it was an excellent trip!

Long ride to see local market, souvenir store, small church, zoo and hot springs. I didn’t enjoy it.

Hector the tour guide and driver was an absolute pleasure to be with. My husband and I enjoyed the drive, views, lunch and all our stops throughout the day. We visited the zoo, waterfall, natural spring and local shops in the Valley. I 100% recommend this tour if your looking to have a nice relaxing day away from City life.

Luis was a great guide, picked us up at our hotel and we took a nice ride through the country side to Anton valley. He’s full of great facts and stories about the country. Would highly recommend him for a tour if you are in town.

Excellent day trip if you want to get out of the city and breathe some mountain air! Hector was very friendly and knowledgeable! The walk in the forest and the natural pool was breathtaking!

It was very nice to get out of Panama City for a day. Spent my day with an exellent guide, Hector and his beautiful daughter Stacy. I also had a chance to visit the sloth sanctuary and a tropical garden, did a bit of shopping and had a nice lunch. It's always nice to meet the local dogs and have a chance to share my lunch with them. I also learned a lot about the local history of Anton Valley. I highly recommend this tour.

My wife and I had a fantastic day on the tour. Hector P was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Because it was just the two of us and our guide, the experience was very conversational and enjoyable. Great way to learn about Panama and experience El Valle de Anton.
Never been on a tour like this!

This was an amazing tour! Our tour guide, Hector, was super personable and picked us up right at our hotel and the fun began. Great conversation along the two hour ride up to Anton valley, and once we got there we had a nice tour of the zoo, we took great pictures with mountainous backdrops. Our next stop was the waterfall that we saw along a short but beautiful hike through a dense forrest leading to a natural pool for a swim in its refreshing waters. We then had a chance to shop around in the local community farmers market where we were able to pick up souvenirs. Never been on a tour like this and my girlfriend and I had a blast. Shout out to Hector and the Live Folks crew for facilitating this memorable journey!
