Beautiful ride through the hills and ruins in the outskirts of Rome! Felipe looked after us super well and gave us a really engaging, cheerful, informative tour of so many cool places; he really conveyed a sense of the dramatic human stories behind the sites we stopped at. The bike ride was safe and not too taxing, especially with the e-bikes feature, but it was still challenging enough to feel like a real adventure.

Our e-bike tour of the Appian Way was an unforgettable highlight of our trip to Rome! From the moment we hopped on our electric bikes, it was an effortless and enjoyable journey through history. Pedaling along the ancient Appian Way, free from the noise of vehicles and crowds, was a surreal experience. The aqueducts, ruins, and countryside views were absolutely stunning—true glimpses into Rome’s storied past. Our guide, Leopold, was fantastic! His passion for history and storytelling brought the ancient sites to life. He made sure everyone was comfortable, even those of us who had never ridden an e-bike before. The stop at the Mausoleum of Cecilia Metella and the Aqua Claudia remains were fascinating, and Leopold's explanations added so much depth to the experience. But let me emphasize: DO NOT miss the lunch! It was a delightful spread of local flavors in a serene countryside setting. The vegetarian options were just as satisfying as the traditional ones. It was the perfect way to refuel after the ride and soak in the peaceful atmosphere. Everything was well-organized, from the bikes (complete with water bottles you can refill at fountains along the way) to the seamless pacing of the tour. Whether you’re a history buff or simply looking for a unique way to explore Rome, this tour is a must-do. Thanks to Leopold and the team for an incredible day!
