  I booked and paid for our private donut boat excursion weeks in advance of our trip. I was completely disappointed when the afternoon prior to our excursion, I received an email canceling our excursion due to mechanical issues without giving us any other options other than a full refund. While I was happy to be offered a refund, I was left with concern that we (a party of 6) wouldn't be able to find something else to do comparable to the excitement we had for this excursion. When I asked about other options, they did offer us a VIP Catamaran Snorkeling excursion at no extra cost. We had a very good time. Octopus Aruba did do their best to accommodate us and I'm only leaving 4 stars instead of 5 because we booked and expected a private excursion, but had a great time understanding that things happen. The crew we had were fun, upbeat, knowledgeable and really made us feel comfortable and safe. ("G" is the only member's name I can remember) I would definitely book with them again.

  The reviews were right about this one, it was cancelled a day before do to motor issues so couldn't experience it.

  Had a great time today on the Aqua donut! Saw the beautiful beaches and homes along Palm Beach and all the way up to the lighthouse while on our private aqua donut! Jose Jr and Shaka provided excellent service- fully explained how to work everything on the boat, showed us the safety gear and snorkeling gear- showed us where to take the boat and offered to guide us. We always felt safe as they provided us with their contact information. We knew they were a quick call away if we needed them. Great way to have a private family excursion on the water! Thanks to Jeff at Sunshine Water Sports for connecting us with Octopus Aruba! Thanks again to Jose Jr and Shaka for great service!

  Jose was very patient as we didn't realize we would need help steering. He stayed on with us helped us on and off was kind, informative and fun. It was a beautiful day on the water highly recommend

• Best Day in Aruba! - The Donut Experience!

  Best day we had in Aruba! My husband and I rented the boat with another couple that we traveled with. So only the four of us were on the boat and we didn't have to share our time with any other travelers, which I would highly recommend doing. At first we were concerned about being exposed to the sun for five hours while on the water, but learned we had nothing to worry about as the canvas cover offered enough shade to keep us protected while on the boat. The two who showed us how to maneuver the boat we kind and patient and kept their distance to not interfere with our experience but close enough to ensure our safety. We were guided to the best snorkeling places and given as much time as we wanted to enjoy everything until we were ready to move on. Not only did we enjoy the boat ride, we had time to lay back in our rafts and enjoy the sun, sights, of the beautiful scenery. We all rated this as the best adventure we had in Aruba. Because it was only the four of us, we were able to spend the entire five hours on the water doing exactly what we wanted to do, when we wanted to do it. We all highly recommend doing this to everyone!

  The company messaged me 22 minutes before the scheduled time to cancel which we did not see until we arrived. No other accommodations were offered upon arrival. Very disappointing.

  I rented the 10 person donut boat for the day with paid extra service for a driver and Jose and Alex are the BEST!! Jose took us to amazin snorkel locations and Alex went out diving with us and helped a few of us back to the boat when we started getting tired. I highly recommend this excursion, you can buy bottles of champagne or wine (probably beer too) for the ride and they had a great speaker for music. It was a beautiful 4 hour ride on the water! We even got to keep the lil wine glasses as souvenirs!
