Any living creature who hasn’t grown gills like fish, has this main worry before going underwater: "How do I breathe?" Being asked to put your face in the water and inhale can be scary. Luckily, at Aquafari you won’t have to. We will let you breathe naturally. Underwater! This eco-friendly underwater scooter features a bell-shaped glass container that is supplied with oxygen from a scuba-dive tank, which is attached to the front of the scooter. This tank supplies enough oxygen for the entire duration of the trip.
Aquafari is a fun way for non-scuba divers to experience the underwater world and experience the great sensation of breathing underwater.

This excursion is not suitable for women during pregnancy and people suffering from a recent neck or back injury, heart conditions, respiratory ailments, epilepsy, claustrophobia or diabetes
Minimum age requirement is 10 years old. Minimum height requirement is 4ft (1,2 mtr) and maximum weight limit of 275lbs (125 kg).
If any of these restrictions apply to you, a doctors consent letter is required to be allowed on the excursion.
If under the influence of alcohol or drugs, participation in this excursion will be denied.
If your departure flight is within 18 hours of your Aquafari trip.

5.00Omg what an adventure, it was amazing and so worth letting go of fears! My experience interacting with all of the wonderful staff on the 2/12 tour was absolutely incredible, the divers help ease my anxiety and helped me to be in the moment. I even was celebrated on my birthday my a song and complimentary drink which was so good and thoughtful. When visiting the island it is a must try

5.00Staff was fabulous and prepared you well. It was an amazing experience. Saw lots of fish and shipwreck debris. Scooters worked well and encourage you to spin it around to see even more. The biggest challenge was getting into/onto scooter but with that said the divers were great helping you and shouldn’t deter you. With that said one of our group of 4 was feeling uncomfortable and the diver was great getting her back and then continuing on with the rest of the group. Strongly recommend to give it a go!!

5.00It was an amazing experience to be riding an underwater scooter among the fish. The divers with us lured some of the fish with a bottle of special food. I was able to feed the fish. I had no trouble maneuvering the scooter or breathing underwater. My wife is prone to seasickness, and she didn't fare as well.

5.00I thought the tour was amazing, it is definitely something to do when you come to Curaçao. The fish that look amazing, and the treatment of the excellent quality staff. As it looks in the pictures, that's what it looks like. I would recommend it 100 percent.

5.00On February 2, 2026, my wife and I went on an underwater scooter excursion with Aquafari in Curaçao. It was a fantastic experience and we really enjoyed it. The team is very customer-friendly, professional, and helpful. After a thorough instruction and explanation, we were guided excellently through the entire tour by two very experienced divers. We had never dived ourselves before, but this was amazing. Underwater, you could completely relax. You could feed the fish, and fun photos were taken along the way. All in all, a wonderful and unforgettable experience. Thank you, Aquafari, for this wonderful experience and lovely memory.

4.00The tour was really fun but we didn’t see very many fish. We did a tour on a different island where we were able to roam around an area on our own instead of following the leader out and back. We didn’t see many fish until we got back near the rock ledge where the leader fed the fish. The staff were extremely nice and we loved them!
