Your hosts, Steph and Adam, have been exploring beautiful Magnetic Island for over 39 years, they love to share the stories, history and their connection with this island they call their home. Our 5 hour Discovery Tour is a combination of snorkelling fringing reefs, exploring secluded bays, and learning all about beautiful Magnetic Island. Benefit from having Master Reef Guides on tour sharing the stories of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. Personalised to suit our guests with small tour numbers, your amazing adventure starts with us. Activities include exploring secluded pristine bays and beaches, birdlife, snorkel beautiful fringing reefs, reef education with Master Reef Guides, interactions with fish "friends", and marine life - whales (July to Sept), stories and indigenous history all in the one tour. Stand Up Paddle boards, floating pontoon to sit on and relax. Enjoy a morning tea on a secluded beach and connect with the special places we explore on Magnetic Islands iconic and stunning coastline. Morning tea and all equipment for activities is provided for you. Snorkel tuition is provided in a safe and caring environment.

5.00A great day fabulous experience pity we couldn't master paddle boarding but fun trying. Fish and burd feeding an unexpected high point. Certainly well worth it.

5.00Despite the bad weather, Kelvin and Jack sailed us safely on their boat to the most beautiful spots of Magnetic Island. They told us about ‘their’ island with great love. We had little snorkeling experience, but everything was explained and we were well guided. The experienced snorkelers could indulge themselves at the beautiful stops at sea. The morning tea was great, with fresh fruit, banana bread and some sugars to replenish energy. Because snorkeling takes energy, but what a great experience. Thank Jack and Kelvin for this unforgettable experience!

5.00We were lucky enough to circle the island in a small group and snorkel in different places, climb to a waterfall and watch many fish of the Marine Park. A great family business that I can only recommend!

5.00With a pleasantly small group on board, three snorkeling spots were approached, in one bay there was a tea break with fruit and cake and the opportunity to swim or try the stand-up boards. The crew was very hard, the boatmaster knew a lot about the island. there was a pleasing surprise at the end - we received digital pictures of the excursion at no further cost. Overall a positive experience, we would recommend.

5.00Amazing tour around the whole Magnetic Island. We saw and stopped in beautiful secluded bays and were able to enjoy them totally alone. Geoffrey Bay corals are absolutely stunning! Highly recommend it 🐠🪸

5.00Excellent tour. Kalvin and Jack were great - knowledgeable, friendly and safety aware! We were warned in advance that the conditions might not be suitable for snorkelling and Aquascene adjusted the itinerary accordingly- regardless we had a great trip (and did manage some snorkelling!). Really well organised and fun tour with a mix of snorkelling, swimming at the beach and paddle boarding, as well as a tour of the island! Highly recommend!!

5.00Was a really cool experience, the tour guides were really knowledgeable about the island making the ride very interesting. Admission fee is on the higher end but for 5 hours on a boat, access to boat only parts of the island, morning tea and gear was worth it Very accommodating for those who haven’t snorkeled before/weren’t confident Boat was pretty full but didn’t feel crowded Would definitely recommend if your visiting!
Auqascene you are amazing, a must do on Magnetic Island :-)

5.00Amazing trip, from booking to end. Steph and Adam were so lovely, giving us all the info and tips we needed. In the day, Kelvin and Jack really knew their stuff, from snorkeling, (thanks Adam for helping a girl to not panic :-)) and the history of the island which they are both very passionate about. It was the most relaxed snorkeling I’ve ever done, the amount of fish we saw were awesome. Such an amazing fun day out, which I would recommend highly to anyone visiting the island.
