Our 5 hour Discovery Tour is a combination of snorkelling fringing reefs, exploring secluded bays, and learning all about beautiful Magnetic Island. Benefit from having Master Reef Guides on tour sharing the stories of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. Personalised to suit our guests with small tour numbers, your amazing adventure starts with us. Activities include exploring secluded pristine bays and beaches, birdlife, snorkel beautiful fringing reefs, reef education with Master Reef Guides, interactions with fish "friends", and marine life - whales (July to Sept), stories and indigenous history all in the one tour. Stand Up Paddle boards, floating pontoon to sit on and relax. Enjoy a morning tea on a secluded beach and connect with the special places we explore on Magnetic Islands iconic and stunning coastline. Morning tea and all equipment for activities is provided for you. Snorkel tuition is provided in a safe and caring environment.

5.00An excellent tour! We were told in advance that we could not snorkel due to sea conditions and given the chance to cancel but we thought it would be fun to be on the boat anyway and we were not disappointed! We swam, played on the paddel boards, enjoyed tea and cake on the beach, visited the wreck of the SS Adelaide and saw the rocks Captain Cook saw when he sailed pass the island believing bit to interfere with his compass. We also circumnavigated the island! Highly recommend!

5.00We had an absolutely fantastic experience on our snorkel tour yesterday with my six-year-old son. From start to finish, the day felt relaxed, well-organised, and perfectly suited for families. A big shoutout to Kalvin and Jack, who were both incredible - friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. They made us feel safe and welcome the entire time. What really stood out is how the day is shaped by the skipper based on the weather and conditions. It means you’re not stuck to a rigid plan - instead, you get the absolute best experience nature has to offer on the day. We enjoyed a mix of activities including swimming and stand up paddle boarding before heading to another stunning spot around the island for snorkelling. The water was crystal clear, and the marine life was amazing - definitely a highlight! Huge thanks to the whole team for such a memorable day. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Magnetic Island!

5.00An excellent trip. It was great to see our young grandchildren introduced to snorkelling and paddle boarding. We loved swimming through the schools of fish. The staff were great, especially with the children.

5.00The crew was fantastic and the knowledge of Magnetic island was great. Informative, fun, beautiful sites, and decent snorkeling for the weather. The stop for tea and water fun was perfect. I would highly recommend this trip for anyone visiting the area.

5.00We had been looking forward to snorkeling, but due to the strong winds of the last few days, the visibility underwater was unfortunately too bad. I'm glad we got a nice call about this a day in advance. The crew then did everything they could to make it a nice trip. They were friendly, thought along well and despite the circumstances ensured a successful day. Much appreciated! Also the nice explanation at all bays and wrecks was top!

5.00It was a very good experience, the best snorkeling out of 3 trips along the Great Barrier Reef. I had accidentally missed the date I was supposed to go on this trip but the captain let me go the following day. It was very informative about the history of Magnetic island. It was really nice with a small amount of people and decent snorkeling and lunch with coffee. I recommend and would do this again!
