SAN ISIDRO – MIRAFLORES – BARRANCO – DOWNTOWN LIMA. We begin our adventure by picking up each traveler from your hotel or Airbnb at 9:00 a.m., based on our pickup points (a day early we will confirm the pickup time based on your hotel location). MIRAFLORES – PACHACAMAC. Then, we will travel south of Lima by private tourist transport (approximately 1 hour).
Discover the fascinating Site Museum of Pachacámac, located inside the Archaeological Sanctuary. On display here are more than 290 original pieces of ceramics, wood and textiles, carefully preserved to reveal the greatness of the ancient civilizations that inhabited this sacred place. Among its most outstanding treasures is the imposing Idol of Pachacámac, a sculpture revered for centuries by the pre-Hispanic peoples of Peru.
Explore the impressive Archaeological Sanctuary of Pachacámac, one of the most important ceremonial centers on the Peruvian coast. This ancient pre-Inca and Inca complex is composed of temples, pyramids and sacred streets built with adobe and stone.
After touring the temples and pyramids, we will ascend to the highest part of the archaeological complex, where the majestic Temple of the Sun is located. From this privileged point, visitors can enjoy a spectacular view of the Lurin Valley and the Pacific Ocean, a perfect setting to appreciate the magnitude of the sanctuary and take unforgettable photographs. This place, full of history and ancestral energy, invites you to connect with the deep spirituality of ancient Andean cultures.

4.00The guide for the tour was good, but I was frustrated with the lack of communication before the visit - we were told we would get a private tour with pickup from the cruise port, but the operator changed the pick-up area, and modified it to a group tour without advising. We were only told when I asked to confirm the specifics for the pick up location. Pick-up was late, and the drop off after the tour was later than expected, again, with very little communication. The drop-off time was mainly due to traffic, so be aware of the impact that might have if you have other plans.
