Minimum numbers apply. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund.
Please dress appropriately. The weather in the Arctic can change very quickly. During the summer months it can get very warm and rain might be always possible. We recommend wearing sturdy shoes and bringing a rain/weather jacket.
The weather conditions are in no way predictable in our area and we will not offer a refund in case of too many clouds.

This tour is not recommended for children under 10 years of age.
There is a possibility of cancellation due to dangerous weather and/or road conditions. If this occurs, an alternative date or full refund will be offered.
Type of transportation: Van
The group size is limited to 8 guests for each Transit van. Larger group bookings are possible and multiple vans will be used in this case.
This tour requires being able to enter and exit our van with limited assistance. Please contact us if you have any concerns about mobility.
Every guest must sign a waiver before any tour so they clearly acknowledge the inherent risks of wilderness travel, assume responsibility for their own safety, and confirm they are medically able to participate.
Not recommended for people with limited mobility.

Alyeska Pipeline Viewing Point
We begin our journey with a convenient pickup at your hotel/address inside the city limits of Fairbanks or North Pole. We will schedule your pick up time between 7 am and 8 am for you, depending on the location of the hotels. Settle into your seat and relax on the 200-mile (322-km) journey down the back roads of Interior Alaska. We provide free snacks and drinks on the road to ensure your utmost comfort in our climate-controlled vans. Take a trip back in time as you travel down the Dalton Highway. Enjoy the journey across the Yukon River, as you catch a glimpse of the wildlife that inhabits sub-arctic Alaska. With sweeping views of mountains and valleys, you will also see the Trans-Alaskan Pipeline System (TAPS), one of the largest pipeline systems, transporting thousands of gallons of oil from Prudhoe Bay to Valdez.
Stop at the Hilltop Restaurant & Marketplace where you can find the best Pies in this area. No matter if you like to have an extra treat, some Alaskan gifts for the family back home or if you are only interested in using one of the last Restrooms with running water, you are welcome to do any of it during this stop.

5.00I wanted to drop a quick note about the tour my wife and I took to the Artic Circle with Shannon and her copilot Dillion. Shannon was Great. She took the time to answer any questions we had. Made stops to show us items of interest. Assisted with taking pictures of my wife and I together. Made the trip very pleasant and seem like only an hour. We even saw a bear. Would I recommend this to everyone, Absolutely. Take a leap of faith and schedule this trip. You will not forget this once in a lifetime experience.

5.00We enjoyed our trip to the Artic Circle with our tour guide Jamie! He was very engaged with the group, attentive to all our needs, very informative, and an EXCELLENT driver!!! My mother enjoyed Jamie so much she insisted on a picture with him!! Defintaly a check off my bucket list. Highly recommended!!
Dalton Highway to the Arctic Circle

5.00We throughly enjoyed our excursion. Another couple joined us on this tour and it was truly an adventure for all. We kept running into a couple from Colorado that had mishaps driving the Dalton Highway to the Arctic Circle ahead of us. Broken out window from road debris, flat tire and more. We kept expecting to see them around the bend at the side of the road with another problem. Being so remote our driver as expected, helped them out where he could. We saw beautiful landscapes, our driver/guide was very knowledgeable and provided a lot of information and was wonderful. We were ecstatic when we reached the Arctic Circle Marker and took lots of pictures. Yes, it is a long drive but a stop was made for treats, a little shopping and bathroom break at a small store.

1.00I joined this tour on February 2. We were picked up in an 8-person minivan for what was advertised as a 14-hour tour. In my experience, the vehicle felt very small and cramped, with very limited legroom even in the front. There was also very little space to store winter gear like coats and hats. Over the 14-hour trip, there was only one indoor restroom stop. Aside from that, we stopped at a few portable toilets where, from what I observed, the facilities were very basic and lacked things like running water and toilet paper (and I didn’t notice a functioning flush). In extremely cold weather (around -17°C), this was uncomfortable and difficult. After about 5–6 hours, we arrived at the Arctic Circle sign. There wasn’t much else at that stop besides the sign itself. We had around 10 minutes to take photos, and then we started the long drive back. Unfortunately, we did not see the Northern Lights due to heavy cloud cover. That part is understandably down to luck and weather. I do appreciate that the guide made more than one attempt to find a clear spot. That said, for a 14-hour tour, I personally found the vehicle size and comfort to be a major drawback, and the limited restroom options are another important consideration. Also, only two 500 ml bottles of water were provided during the entire trip, which I felt was not enough. If you’re considering this tour, here are my suggestions: • Bring your own water. • Be prepared for a small, crowded vehicle for a very long ride. • In my opinion, it may not be suitable for people with knee or back issues, since both the legroom and seat space felt quite limited. Overall, if you’re comfortable doing a 14-hour journey mainly to stop briefly for a couple of signs/photos, then it might work for you. Personally, I didn’t feel it was worth it.

5.00This was an amazing trip. We learned about the Aleyska pipeline and got to see many, many miles of it as we traveled northward on the famous Dalton Highway - and yes, it's just like it's portrayed on tv. We met firefighters from several different countries since the trip afforded us a lunch stop at an outpost. I can go on and on, but we went during the summer (late July) and it was a whopping 34 degrees. Loved, loved, loved this excursion and even the rest of group that was also on the tour. Would go again!
