• Absolutely great tour with Barbora from Northern Horizon!

  I had an amazing experience on the nature & sightseeing photo tour outside Tromsø. Our guide Barbora was simply outstanding. She is incredibly professional, extremely knowledgeable, and brings such positive, friendly energy to the whole experience. What really stood out is her ability to share information in such an engaging way.. you genuinely want to listen to every single thing she says, you never zone out for a second (which can be the case with many other tour guides I have been with). That’s a real talent as a guide! On top of that, she took absolutely amazing photos for us throughout the trip, which made the experience even more special. A quick shoutout as well to Martin, our driver, who did a great job navigating the winter roads smoothly and safely. The scenery outside Tromsø was breathtaking and the whole day felt perfectly organized, relaxed, and truly memorable. I would 100% recommend Northern Horizon with Barbora to anyone visiting Tromsø who wants to experience the Arctic nature and come back with fantastic photos and great memories :) Emmanuella

  Great tour, bring both phone and real camera is you have it. We saw both a reindeer and seals. The weather was very windy and temperamental but our guide, Simon, did amazingly with finding the best spots

  Simon, our guide, was fantastic, and took us on a wonderful tour of the area, stopping at all the best places for photogtraphs, including an impromptu stop when we spotted a reindeer. Despite difficult driving conditions we always felt safe and were very impressed with his knowledge of Norwegian and Sami culture.

  Had a wonderful tour with a great driver and guide. We got some beautiful photos and were able to take them ourselves. Highly recommended if you're a photography enthusiast.

  Great experience. Both Bart and Barboro were fantastic. Friendly, professional, and it was great to be supplied with expert photos of our trip. Saw many beautiful sites in the area as well as the power of nature. Friendly vibe and laughter as we journeyed along in the mini bus. Bart was a competent driver and we felt safe and looked after, even on the icy, snowy roads. Would highly recommend.

  Burt and the driver made a fantastic team. Very welcoming, extremely knowledgeable and incredibly helping. Burt went out of his way to make sure everyone got the best from each location we visited. From the little seaside village to the expanse of the large Fjord where we had our fire and snacks. i will mention this at this point as i wish to finish on a positive, the wildlife was somewhat dissapointing, and whilst i feel we were not seeking wildlife i could be mistaken. Back to the positive, the places our super confident very skilful driver took us to were amazing, our driver (iwish i could remember his name (sorry) and made us feel very safe on some pretty treacherous road, great skills. Burt's itinery was awesome finishing on a beautiful beach at Grotfjordvegan where Burt made (and cleared / cleaned entirely afterwards) our little camp fire and delighted in his stories with super coffee, cinnamon tea and delightful local iced buns. i would recommend this trip to anyone and the places we vistied magnicent and Burt is such a wonderful guy and guide, thank you.

  Grom the erst moment everything was perfect. Bara our guide and Dominik the driver made the experience wonderful. Weather was not always great but they found perfect spots, took the best pictures and served a hot drink amd snack at a beach! It was an impressive day in the fjords around tromsö with great nature and also great people and fun.

  claire is very kind and knowledgeable tour guide. She kept everyone was okay and shared loads of knowledge about reindeer and wildlife to us! add on, hot choco provided never made me disappointed! highly recommended to join this trip :-)

  The experienced guide decides what locations and activities would suit the tour for the day, but will take requests into consideration. Claire is an avid outdoors person and intimately familiar with the area. Dominik who drove us was also very helpful when we set up for a picnic and went on our short explorations. A wonderful experience, with photos to preserve memories. Highly recommended.
