Northern Norway will surprise you with its unique landscape of fjords, mountains, beaches and picturesque villages.
During this 5-hour round trip of Kvaløya island, we take care of the full package: pictures of you and the landscape, local pastries, hot beverages, a knowledgeable guide and a driver that will show you the most beautiful spots in the area.
We will stop in many places to show you as much as possible during the tour. These breaks are also an excellent opportunity for spotting wildlife, like reindeer and sea eagles. Please note that animal sighting is never guaranteed. To keep you warm and comfortable while outside, we provide thermal suits and boots.
To ensure that you have the perfect souvenir from your tour, your guide will send you the photos free of charge the following day.

5.00What an amazing day seeing so many beautiful sights. We were also lucky enough to see a moose and reindeer in the wild. Bert, our guide was very informative, knowledgeable and friendly. He clearly loves his job. You won’t have any regrets booking the trip. It’s a wonderful experience.

5.00WOW! A unique perspective. I’m a solo traveller and I’m 18 - so if you have any younger ones debating whether they’d like it. They definitely would!! This tour was well worth the money, they had plenty of stops, and they gave you enough time to take pictures, videos - they didn’t rush you at all. We had the rare opportunity of seeing a Moose which was very cool but the scenery was crazy beautiful. Bert is honestly the best tour guide I’ve ever came across. He provided information not just about the wildlife but Norway in general, Sami Culture, and told us fun facts along the way and he presented it in a way that is very interesting and that you’re engaged, additionally he was also smiling. You can tell he loves what he does and has a genuine passion for it He also was taking photos with his professional camera, which he generously sent to us after for us to post on social media. I’ve paid crazy money much more than this for other experiences in Tromsø such as Husky, Reindeer Sledding. This experience was the cheapest and hands down, I believe this was the best value and the most enjoyable ones If I ever come back to Tromsø, which is very likely I will definitely book another tour with Northern Horizon, hopefully I get Bert again!!

4.00Nice trip out into the Norwegian countryside. Lots of great scenic views and remote locations. Alas not much wildlife although we did stop at a little authentic village with a boat repairer who gave an interesting chat about his work.

5.00Beautiful views with the added bonus of seeing a seal, 2 Golden Eagles and a moose. Lots of information given during the journey.

5.00The tour took you away from Tromso island to an area to the north west towards Tromvic. Several stops are made at scenic spots with the option to take photos. The guide also took some photos and will , if wanted, take photos of yourself and forward them on to you. Just before returning to Tromso a stop was made for a drink and cookie. Make sure you wear lots of layers as if windy the temperature is a lot lower than in Tromso itself. The tour lasted just over 4 hours.

5.00Great experience from Tromso. Northers Horizon the tour company were excellent. Simon our guide and our driver were most personable and professional. Learnt loads of new facts, saw lots of wildlife, moose, reindeer’s and seals. Lunch on the beach was a nice touch. A great cultural experience and good value for money. 5 hours end to end was just perfect.

5.00This was a wonderful trip that took us by fjords and beautiful landscapes. The tour guides were great. We had reindeer walking beside us and in front of the van and we had to pause briefly for them to move. The trip, chocolate and pastry was so good! I definitely recommend this tour so you can see the beauty of the country for yourself.
