Northern Norway will surprise you with its unique landscape of fjords, mountains, beaches and picturesque villages.

During this 5-hour round trip of Kvaløya island, we take care of the full package: pictures of you and the landscape, local pastries, hot beverages, a knowledgeable guide and a driver that will show you the most beautiful spots in the area.

We will stop in many places to show you as much as possible during the tour. These breaks are also an excellent opportunity for spotting wildlife, like reindeer and sea eagles. Please note that animal sighting is never guaranteed. To keep you warm and comfortable while outside, we provide thermal suits and boots.

To ensure that you have the perfect souvenir from your tour, your guide will send you the photos free of charge the following day.

Beautiful scenery, friendly guide, just lunch in the cold with just a hot drink and pastry one would have enjoyed a hot place to take a break and at least one sandwich

Our tour was not interesting. We did not see any wildlife. Drove from one Fiord to another. I think that it was a waste of time and money

Our tour guide Simon was super friendly and knowledgeable and regaled us with lots of interesting and informative facts about the different locations and Norwegian and Sami culture. Simon stopped of at several different locations, allowing us to admire the view, take photos of the stunning scenery and at the same time pointing out any wildlife which on this occasion included seals and reindeer. There was always something interesting to observe on our trip and the tour flew by and was greatly enjoyed by myself and my grown up daughters. On our last stop we picnicked on the beach and it was very heart warming for myself to be provided with food which addressed my complex food allergy. I did not expect that and I have never had that level of service in the U.K. Thank you Simon for this and the lovely memories that we made. I thoroughly recommend Simon and this company for any trips to be made in Tromso.

Our trip was wonderful! We had an amazing guide who was so knowledgeable and provided fascinating details about the wildlife and lifestyle in the north of Norway. We didn’t see a lot of wildlife but the beautiful scenery and photo opportunities more than made up for it.

Simon gave us a great tour through the fjords. We stopped at many great photo spots and learned a lot about Norway, as well as the Sami and enjoyed beautiful views. Unfortunately, lunch turned out to be tea with a sweet bite. All of it was delicious, but we were a bit hungry in terms of quantity. Nevertheless, we would highly recommend the trip, but next time pack a vesper.
Forget the whales and go on an Arctic Nature Tour with Northern Horizon.

As an alternative to whale watching, we booked a minivan Artic Nature Tour organized by Northern Horizon. And it was certainly not a bad choice. At 10:00 AM, we left with our driver, guide Barbora, and 11 guests. The weather cooperated: dry and sunny. The tour took us through beautiful landscapes, and Barbora provided clear explanations of what we saw. We regularly got out of the minivan to enjoy the surroundings. A special highlight was the visit to the small monument commemorating the sinking of the German battleship Tirpitz during World War II. During the tour, Barbora took photos, which were available at the end of the day. Lunch was also special: enjoying coffee, hot chocolate, and cookies on chairs we brought with us, surrounded by nature, and watched by a white-tailed eagle flying overhead. We arrived back in Tromso around 4:00 PM. A very nice experience.

Simon and Northern Horizon did a great job on showing nature in the countryside surround Tromso. We had a great time. Would recommend the trip to anybody.

It was a great day. We did the Arctic Nature Tour. The guide tells a lot about everything and is enthusiastic. We have been to the most beautiful places. The guide also takes some beautiful pictures of you. A day to never forget! I definitely recommend booking an excursion here.

It was a wonderful experience. Barbora, our guide, and Martin, our driver, were fantastic and made everything easy for us, ensuring a very memorable day. We saw incredible places, and the tour is highly recommended.
