A fun and adventurous day hiking, river trekking and floating through caves and beautiful greenish blue pools (optional cliff jumping too). Swim through breathtaking limestone canyons, stunning caves and unique rock formations carved by the passing of the river, surrounded by beautiful, lush tropical forest scenery and a waterfall. An early start (to avoid the crowds) and smaller groups guided by an experienced and Certified Tour Guide provides a safer, more intimate and immersing experience with insightful information of the island.
Later enjoy some authentic delicious puertorrican food at a local restaurant. End your day hiking a short trail to a small hidden natural spring with pristine water, while learning about the local plants and trees. An unforgettable experience for adventurers seeking less touristic favorite local spots.
Tour requires GOOD PHYSICAL FITNESS, balance, flexibility, river trekking skills and BASIC SWIMMING SKILLS. Closed sturdy water/hiking shoes required.

Get ready to be amazed, get wet and enjoy some adrenaline almost as soon as this adventure starts. After a few minutes of walking downhill, we will encounter the river where it forms beautiful greenish blue pools and start swimming through a breathtaking small canyon carved by the passing of the river for thousands of years. The rock formations are amazing, unique looking and there will lazily float through the canyon admiring this nature’s gift and later do some river trekking. The more adventurous will have a chance of some optional cliff jumping in areas ranging to 8 to 20 feet and rock boulder to access the upper part of the canyon. Afterwards we will hike through an off the beaten path trail to access some incredible caves where we will swim through them surrounded by stunning flowstone rock formations, bats and a beautiful waterfall. Good physical condition and basic swimming skills are required to complete these activities.

5.00The "Arenales River Caving, Waterfall & Tropical Forest Secret Spring" tour with Yamile is hands-down one of the most authentic experiences you can find in Puerto Rico. It is the perfect balance of raw adventure and deep cultural immersion. Yamile is truly the best guide. You can feel her genuine love for the island in everything she does, and her knowledge of the local history, culture, and ecology is incredible. She cares deeply about your enjoyment and thinks of every small detail to make sure you’re comfortable throughout the day. I would choose her over any other tour operator for one major reason: she starts earlier than the rest. Getting to these stunning spots before the crowds arrive makes the experience feel private and magical. Plus, she is so well-known and liked by the locals at the parking areas and food stops that you’re treated like family everywhere you go. 5.00This was such an incredible experience! Well worth the price. This was our favorite excursion we did in PR; Yamille was energetic, thoughtful, and made sure everyone was doing well. She was super respectful of everyone’s energy level without letting it get to dull even when we were tired. She provided a wealth of information and we only wish we had done our rainforest tour with her as well. This was so fun but be warned it is a hike. Rocks are slippery, paths are kind of awkward, but it is totally worth it!

5.00We enjoyed a day filled with adventure. We swam through beautiful caves, surrounded by lush, green forest. Swimming, jumping, and climbing were all part of the experience, Yamile is an outstanding guide and provided us with information about Puerto Rico, the people, and the plants and animals in the areas we visited. We enjoyed a delicious Puerto Rican lunch with lots of delicious foods to choose from. The tour was well organized and the communication was top notch. Could not be more pleased!

5.00Yamile is a great tour guide and extremely knowledgeable. My daughter pushed me to do the caves with her and I was not sure I could. Yamile made us feel safe and made the experience fun. 5.00Awesome family adventure! We’ve done many tours, but this particular one stands out because of Yamile, our guide. She’s so passionate about her job, attentive with everyone’s safety, descriptive about all the things we were experiencing. This tour is definitely a highlight of our journey in Puerto Rico. We cliff dived in the caves where my husband lost his Apple Watch. Another guide was able to retrieve it and delivered it to him while we were eating lunch! Yamile was great helping us order lunch instead of us using google translate. We truly appreciate her service and hospitality. She’s also compassionate because she asked us to save our leftovers for all the little stray dogs we saw on our way to the 2nd hike. Hands down, I would 100% recommend this tour because of the exceptional service by Yamile.

5.00We had such a wonderful time on the Arenales Caves & River tour. Exploring the caves and river was a really unique experience and a highlight of our trip to Puerto Rico. Our guide Yamile was fantastic — so friendly, enthusiastic, and welcoming. She made the whole group feel comfortable and made the tour really fun. It honestly felt like exploring with a local friend. She also helped take beautiful photos for us and made sure everyone was safe and enjoying the experience. Highly recommend this tour if you’re visiting Puerto Rico!

5.00An amazing adventure and terrific guide with Yamile. It was an early start time (715am) but we were the first to get there and could experience everything in a natural tranquil setting. About halfway through there were several other large groups and people waiting to go past certain areas. By the time we were going back to the parking area, there were at least 15 other groups there. So if you want to beat the crowds this is the tour for you.

5.00We had an amazing time on this excursion! Our tour guide was amazing, she was a ton of fun and very lively. The caves were beautiful, the rivers were nice and cold on a warm day. The restaurant we stopped at for lunch was great. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone considering.
