Plaza General San Martin
This is our meeting point, where we will try the bicycles and helmets. Nobody doubts who the father of the country is yet nobody remembers who the mother of the country was, the woman who fought hand-to-hand with Generals and soldiers in the quest for Argentine independence; and also, the story behind the black community of Argentina.
Monumento a Combatientes de Malvinas
Wars have always been something terrible and so silence is. We will tell you everything about The Malvinas War and the story of female veterans who actively participated in the war as well as the reasons for their subsequent invisibility.

Wow! What can I say except that this was a simply fantastic tour! On a beautiful sunny BA day in late Dec-'23, my partner and I met Alex, our guide, for this fascinating, history-driven tour that focused on famous Argentinian women. Alex was so passionate and personable, and extremely knowledgeable. He shared stories, information, facts, music, and so much more on this tour. Scheduled to run for 4 hours, we were having such a great time, and Alex was so keen to share his love for his city and country, that we ended up going for around 6 hours (which wasn't a problem as there was only my partner and I on the tour ... another absolute plus for us). The cycling was done on wide streets, most with wide bike paths, so even if you're a tentative rider, you'll generally feel safe. Only trap was on the way back when we ventured onto a rather narrow street that had one lane of parked cars, a lane of moving traffic, and a very narrow, two-way bike path. Bit scary facing oncoming cars and bikes in such a narrow bike lane. Perhaps by the time you do this tour (which I strongly recommend you do) the route will have been altered to bypass this narrow street. Alex, thanks again for showing us so much of the city and sharing your passion and knowledge with us.
