Overview Experience swimming with two of the four Sea Turtles species native to the Cook Islands. We take you into their natural marine environment, close enough to touch but our sustainable tourism policies mean we only allow touching with your eyes. Their home is not just home to Sea Turtles, we may encounter Eagle Rays, Moray Eels, Trevally, and the hundreds of species of tropical fish. You'll learn about our coral reefs, the habitat and what we are doing to protect this resource for future generations. Turtles, eagle rays and 007 style scooters!

5.00A perfect Cook Island experience! Barista coffee from the onsite cafe was a great way to start the morning. The friendly and experienced staff had us kitted out, professionally briefed, into the water, and scooter savvy in no time at all. We were split into small groups, each with an experienced guide and a dedicated photographer. The sea scooters were simple and effective, allowing us to quickly make our way out to the turtle channel and safely keep together as a group while moving between the habitats, regardless of swimming ability. This gave us lots of time with the turtles. A highlight for me was being able to use the scooter to dive deep enough to swim with the spotted eagle rays - an absolutely breath taking experience! Turtles were easily spotted and all of us were able to have photos taken with a turtle or 3! Photos were downloaded onto our phones at no cost once ashore. The onsite showers and toilets were convenient and clean. Respect for the turtles and their surroundings was very apparent, and they even sell reef friendly sunblock. A magic outing, thank you Jane, Ake, Tashe and Max.

5.00We felt so greatful to have chosen Ariki Adventures for this experience. They take such care in what they do and how they work with the environment. The snorkel gear was great quality and the scooters were such an asset to see everything that we did. The Turtles W O W, so many, so close we are still buzzing. The best experience we can’t wait to come back one day and bring the family. Thank you the highlight of our trip!

5.00We saw about 8 turtles and some eagle rays on our trip into the deep channel where they all live. We took the sea scooter option which meant we definitely got to see more as it meant we got more time with the sea life rather than hard swimming against the current. There were 17 of us and we split into 3 groups each with 3 staff watching out for us and the turtles as well as an emergency boat, should it be required. They do complimentary photos and bit of video of your trip out which are really good pictures. Also you can attach your own GoPro to the sea scooters which is brilliant, however maybe a good idea to mark your GoPro with a sticker or something to save confusion over whose is whose when you enter the water with other people who also have one too!! Altogether a fantastic experience that I would recommend to anyone

5.00Absolutely stunning team, we arrived 10 minutes late following wrong address that lead us to otherside of island, however we were swiftly briefed & joined the rest of crew xx absolutely stunning tour, team were observant and gave us the best experience!! Scooters were definitely a highlight xx meitaki maata!!

5.00Wow this was a highlight of the trip!! Very well run, professional and fun! The instructors were amazing. Sea Scooter was easy to use. They give you a test run to see if you can do it first and then we went out. Felt safe with the tour group, I stopped for a minute and one of the staff came checked if I was ok..

5.00We went on this turtle adventure today with our adult children and partners and absolutely loved it. There was 12 of us in our group and we had loads of tour operators helping us and saw so many turtles, rays and even a moray eel. They were very good and we all LOVED the sea scooters. Would definitely recommend.
