I will organize this tour according to your wishes! There are over 50 good museums in Oslo. We will a number of museums, according to our interests, such as the National Museum (Munch painting and many others), Akershus Fortress, the City Hall (Nobel Peace Prize), Vigeland Sculpture Park, Norwegian Museum of Cultural History/Wooden Architecture Museum (Gol stave church from the 13th century), Kon-Tiki Museum, Norwegian Maritime Museum (Viking ship) or Fram (Polar Ship) at Bygdøy.
In Munch museum you shall use their Audio guide on your own device! N.B. Bring your own headset).
Museums fees/entrance tickets & transport shall be paid by the travellers.
We will be using public transport or I will book a private taxi/minibus for you (additional payment).

Oslo
A city tour by foot (4 hours): the City Centre, i.e. Aker Brygge, Oslo of the 19th century: the Royal Palace, the Parliament, the main streets etc. We'll visit a medieval Fortress ‘Akershus’ and “Kvadratura” (city centre of the 17th century). We'll visit one or two museums of your choice: the National Gallery (to see E Munch the "Scream" and his other paintings, French impressionists etc), Astrup Fearnley Museum of Modern Art (private museum) or one of the museums in Bygdøy peninsula i.e. Vikings Ship Museum /Kon-Tiki / Fram (Polar Ship) or the Museum of Wooden Architecture I can include the new National Opera House and the Vigeland Park (it will take us 10 min by tram to get there). Museums entrance fees are 100 kr per person.

5.00We had a good tour of museums in Oslo. We visited the Museum of Modern Art and the National museum. Our Guide was informative and passionate about art and history. We would sincerely recommend this tour.

1.00Guide had very little to say about the art- no information about specific norwegian artists or art. Guide constantly looking at phone. Guide said gay activist would try to recruit me at pride parade. Normally, I am easy to get along with and be delighted by international travel and only leave positive reviews. This was very disappointing.

5.00Excellent private tour. Our guide gave us a fantastic day in Oslo. We learnt about history, art, culture and much more. We are well traveled and have high standards, and we were very happy with our tour guide - she was great and spoke excellent English. Time and money well invested.
