I came in response to an article in Volkskrant magazine. What a pleasant surprise. Very original exhibition in a beautiful house. Almost incomprehensible that this was conceived and made by human spirit and hands. True art!

The experience was amazing as someone who loves nature and learning everything and anything about nature the art zoo was the perfect mixture of artistic expression and education without the pressure of having to know anything about the exhibits pr who the artist behind them were. Each piece on display had its own unique characteristics and brought something new to experience

Taxidermy as art is not seen much. The animals are beautifully shaped and placed in special ways. It is a small museum, very suitable for children. In an hour you have watched and listened to everything.

Beautiful blend of architecture and nature. Unique exhibition. The fact that you can see animals and fossils in an Amsterdam canal house is truly fascinating.

In a beautiful old building along the Herengracht in Amsterdam there is a beautiful, small museum. Taxidermy is often exhibited in an old-fashioned way, but not here. Like walking through a fairy tale! It is therefore highly recommended.

Breathtaking exhibition in House Vasari, in the style of the seventeenth-century Wunderkammers. Nothing is left to chance here; an eye for detail and a love for the craft breathe through all the feathers and fibres. Darwin would love to come and take a look here! Great that this building by architect Philip Vingboons is now also accessible to a larger public in this way. And certainly also for children fat interesting!

A beautiful exhibition which is very rewarding. Here, man and nature come together very nicely. Where you come face to face with people and nature. Where you are taken into the past and present. An exhibition where life and death come together and where you reflect on the influence of man on nature in an artistic way where respect for nature and the beauty of craft merge.
