Aruba Downtown Walking Tours
The California Lighthouse is a lighthouse located at Hudishibana near Arashi Beach on the northwest tip of Aruba. This lighthouse was named for the steamship California, which was wrecked nearby on September 23, 1891.
Alto Vista Chapel
Alto Vista Chapel is a small Catholic chapel that stands on the hills above the north shore of Aruba. The present chapel was completed in 1952 and is located on the exact same location as the original chapel, which was built by the Venezuelan missionary in 1750.

5.00I can't remember our driver's name but he was phenomenal! Excellent driver, super informative & interesting with all the history & knowledge. Took us to all the places & was so nice to answer everyone's questions. Would absolutely recommend this!

4.00Saw a lot of different places. Dolfi the driver was a little hard to understand at times. The vehicle that we traveled around in was not what was pictured in TripAdvisor, much smaller and not very comfortable.

5.00My husband and I decided to do the Aruba Countryside tour on our last full day and it was worth it. We thoroughly enjoyed the visit to the Aloe Aruba factory and the beautiful sights of the rock formations and natural bridge. Dolfi was an informative and personable tour guide. Also the price of the tour was affordable. I would highly recommend as a break from the beach during your stay in Aruba.

5.00We caught this tour from OUTSIDE the cruise port and where the last ones to get picked up by Dolphi. Started the tour with a visit to the Aloe factory being able to sample their products. From there we went to see the lighthouse (that was under construction) that we were unable to climb ie could've definitely done without that stop. Got to climb up a rock formation... if you have physical ailments, you won't be able to do this stop. We tasted two types of cactus fruit (red and white) that seemed similar to kiwi consistently...super yummy. We also got to enjoy beautiful scenery and the natural bridge that sadly collapsed (naturally). Overall comparing the price of a similar tour offered by the ship, i would recommend this tour - very reasonable compared to the tours offered by the ship!
