  Discovering Piton de la Fournaise with Benoît from VolKaventure was simply one of the highlights of our stay in La Réunion. My wife, our two daughters aged 12 and 15, and I wanted to experience a custom hike, far from a simple tourist stroll... and the experience far exceeded all our expectations. We had an appointment on May 6 at 8 AM for a 5-hour discovery hike, and from the very first minutes, we understood that we were going to experience something special. Benoît is a true enthusiast of volcanoes, nature, and Piton de la Fournaise. But above all, he possesses that rare talent of conveying his passion with simplicity, enthusiasm, and kindness. Thanks to him, we felt as if we were alone in the world despite this very busy site. He perfectly adapts the pace, explanations, and itinerary to the level and expectations of each person, which allowed the whole family to fully enjoy the adventure. We were amazed by absolutely incredible landscapes... but also "filled our minds"! We learned a tremendous amount about volcanology, eruptions, the formation of the island, and the nature of Réunion. An experience as enriching as it is impressive. Beyond being an exceptional guide, Benoît is an extremely friendly, passionate, and authentic person, with whom one shares much more than just a hike. If you wish to discover the volcano in a different way, experience a human and immersive adventure, and leave with unforgettable memories, we wholeheartedly recommend VolKaventure. An exceptional family experience that we are not likely to forget.

  Superb hike with our guide Benoit. His explanations were very interesting. The course was perfect for our 7 year old daughter who walked without problem for almost 4 hours. We were very lucky to be on the volcano during the eruption recovery and see this with our own eyes, unique experience.

  Amazing hike with Benoît! An enriching and fascinating experience: we learned a lot about the formation of the volcano and its geology, while discovering many ancient craters. Despite the ongoing eruption of the Piton and the closure of the enclosure, the visit remains absolutely captivating, the estate is huge and still offers so many wonders to explore. I highly recommend Bureau Montagne Rando Volcano for the exceptional quality of the guide’s knowledge, the great sympathy of the whole team, and this moment both friendly and unforgettable. Many thanks to Arielle for the perfect organization of this group outing!
