The tour guide Tad was prompt and friendly. The tour itself was a bit hokey but that what made it fun. We enjoyed the experience.

I would recommend the tour to anybody new to the city, it's a great way to explore downtown while having some spooky stories and set pieces. The tour guide is wonderful and will answer any question you ask him about the city or other ghost stories.

The guide is everything. Several years ago I took the tour and as I recall, the guide was also a history teacher. He was excellent, incorporating much history into the ghost info.

Group of us visiting for a conference took this tour and had a great time! We got to see a lot of the city we wouldn’t have. Very knowledgeable guide - we learned a lot about Asheville’s spooky history.

Interesting. The tour guide was knowledgeable. The stories were intriguing. The blue lady who jumped from city hall was omitted. The down side was there were a grout of pre teen children on the tour who talked while the guide was speaking and made things difficult to hear. It amazes me that the adults did not correct their children.

Some hills but relatively easy walk. Funny stories, some a little grotesque if your kids are squeamish but not too bad.

We couldn’t hear the guide very well through his microphone. While ghost tours can be filled with average stories, a good guide will engage you. We didn’t feel the guide, who was perfectly nice, had enough detail or color to the stories to make them very compelling. We got more out of walking the pretty streets.
