  The Burabay tour was simply wonderful. From start to finish, everything was thoughtfully planned and paced just right. The scenery is something out of a dream — calm lakes, pine-covered hills, and those beautiful rock formations that seem to tell their own quiet stories. Our guide was warm, attentive, and deeply knowledgeable about the area’s history and folklore. I especially appreciated how he took the time to point out small details I might have missed on my own — a particular type of tree, a quiet path, or a story from the past. There was a lovely balance of gentle walking, scenic viewpoints, and peaceful rest stops. I never felt hurried, and there was always time to simply take in the surroundings. One of my favorite moments was sitting by the lake with a cup of tea, listening to the birds and feeling completely at peace. Highly recommended!

  A wonderful and relaxing day trip to Burabay! The tour was perfectly organized, with a smooth itinerary and plenty of time to enjoy the stunning nature. The transport was clean and very comfortable, making the journey enjoyable from start to finish. Damir is a fantastic guide — knowledgeable, friendly, and always attentive to our needs. He shared interesting facts about the region's history and culture, and made sure we had great photo stops and even snacks along the way. The whole experience was peaceful, well-paced, and full of beautiful views. Highly recommended for anyone looking to escape the city and enjoy Kazakhstan’s natural beauty in comfort!

  I had an unforgettable experience on my tour to Burabay National Park. The day was well arranged from start to finish, and I had the possibility to influence in the program myself. I felt a little bit like receiving VIP-treatment. The calm and knowledgeable presence of my guide Damir added so much to the experience. He shared interesting insights about the park’s history and landscapes, and a few local legends too. I enjoyed hearing about the history of Kazakhstan, and more personal insights of how life is in there. Damir is also a good driver, so sitting in the car looking at the steppe was a fun experience. The scenery of the park itself was absolutely breathtaking, and the small hike we took in the pine-was enjoyable. Since it was a bit offseason in April, the area was quiet and serene. Apparently, it can get a bit crowded in the summertime. The visit is definitely for someone who likes to take great nature photos. I highly recommended this tour for anyone visiting Astana. For a solo female traveller like me, arranged tour allowed me to relax and fully enjoy the journey without any stress about public transportation or not knowing the language.

  Terrible. I found this tour because I wanted to show my colleagues the beautiful nature of Burabay. But on the morning of the tour , the operators sent us a message that they can’t do it because of weather problems. I checked everything, the road was open and the weather was fine. Nobody showed up, our plans for the day was ruined, they offered city tours in Astana but we didn’t need that at all. We already saw the city by ourselves. Very dissappointed.

  We have good memories of Burabay, it’s definitely a place worth exploring while in Astana. However, the tour description notes that there’s an option to either do boat or horse riding, neither was available for us. It was disappointing to miss out on this part. Also the ice on the lake was melting so no chance to get close to Zhumbaktas, the most important sight in Burabay, I think travelers should be notified about these things when they book during this time of the year. Expected a lot more from the tour description.

  It was a wonderful day trip, gorgeous location, fresh air, hiking, and a great guide. I learnt a great deal about this amazing country.

• Don't skip Burabay if you're in Astana, it is worth the journey

  A long drive but well worth if. Beautiful hike in the park, which included a nice lunch and some horse riding through the forest. Damir was great both on driving and guiding us during the whole day. If you're in Astana, i wouldn't skip Burabay.

  Damir was prompt to respond to our questions and requests before the tour and that gave us confidence that we would be well taken care of. He was punctual for the pick-up and was very knowledgeable with many interesting stories to share with our group of 6 during the tour. He always ensured that we were comfortable despite the weather being uncooperative during the tour. Lunch was also fantastic. We definitely recommend Damir.

  The entire tour was very enjoyable rite from the food to the places. Special thanks to Mr. Damir for making this trip much more enjoyable.
