Our experience includes a climb to the breathtaking Bolektau peak, which is relatively easy and does not require any special equipment. Upon reaching the top, you will be treated to breathtaking panoramas of crystal blue lakes, lush forests, and majestic mountains, all enveloped in the embrace of fresh air infused with the scent of pine trees. 5.00Beautiful scenery with great food and great guides. I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Astana. The view of the lake from the mountain is truly stunning and the pictures don’t do it justice

5.00The climb up the hill to see the two lakes is a little more strenuous than the description lets on, but this nearly 70 year old fart still managed to make it to the top. Coming down was a lot easier than going up. This was nothing like Bear Falls near Almaty two years ago. This was much better.

From the museum to the Burabay national reservation and the boat ride, everything was so well explained by Alan.He gave us information about the ancient life of people, and also about the nature that was breathtaking, 30 min.of hiking till a splendid peak panorama! I definitely recommend Alan as tour guide, his English is excelent, as well as his driving skills.Thank you for a wonderful day!

5.00This is a nice day trip out of Astana combining scenery of the north with the lakes and forests of the Burabay region. The tour round the Botai open air museum was interesting and informative and the hike to the viewpoint at Bolektau and the boat trip around the lake provided some superb views. I would recommend it

5.00This was a perfect day trip to pine clad Burabay National Park..an oasis of hills and lakes surrounded by steppelands... Astana Travels tailored a special trip for me and I wasn't disappointed...I would very much recommend them for anyone traveling in the Astana region...the guides were punctual, friendly and informative...I learned a lot about Kazakhstan generally Burabay specifically. Thanks to all involved for a great day out👌

5.00Astana Horizons are very professional in handling the fast reservation and make everything smooth and warm. The guide Miras is very nice, explain the legends and history in details and very funny to know about it. He is also the good driver. the whole journey I experienced the beautiful scene in pike lake and Burabay national park, and riding horses inside the park, which are all very unforgettable. I love lunch as well!
A truly wonderful trip all round.

5.00A day with Aitzahn was akin to heaven. I felt happy and ten years younger, despite my clumsy attempts to mount the horse during one of the many activities. With kindness and encouragement, I was soon atop the horse and the circuit walk was wonderful. We left my hotel at 6 am in fog, but soon the skies turned a brilliant blue. The mountain and lake views were stunning, and the temperature perfect for hiking. The experience was immensely enjoyable. Burabay National Park is a must-see gem. Aitzahn shared fascinating insights into the geography and legends, and conversation flowed easily. I felt safe, informed, and at ease. I loved the hidden Imanayev waterfalls and the delicious, generous plov lunch at Dostar, especially the tomatoes! Even the orange-lemon tea won me over. With limited time in Astana, I’m so glad I chose this tour. A truly professional company, thank you also for the wonderful sushi breakfast!
Burabay National Park - a winter wonder land

5.00I only had one day to make a trip outside Astana and booked a driver and a car with Astana Horizons to the Burabay National Park. It's approx. a 3 hours drive one way so leaving early is mandatory. The views of the frozen lake and the surrounding mountains, all still snow-covered, were truly impressive. Damir was a great driver and experienced tour guide as well as a very interesting person to talk about many different subjects. The whole trip was most rewarding and enjoyable !!

4.00Beatiful lakes and hills, short horse ride in snow good. Snacks and water on trip not provided, and meal just two main meal options only one of which was Kazhak in Cafe by car park (disapointing) considering cost of trip
