I booked this private tour from Luxor to Aswan directly with the tour operator while we were on the Luxor tour. The car ride took about 2.5 hours and we were greeted by Moataz, a native Nubian. He took us to the High Dam and the Aswan (old) Dam. From there we went to the Unfinished Obelisk. We were surprised with a motor boat to the Pheliae Temple on the Nile River. The ride with the breeze felt good under the 100+ degree heat. He shared the history for every site and helped us take memorable photos. We thank you and wish you well in your new chapter in life. We had great communication throughout the trip for the organizer Mohamed. The arranged car arrived at the hotel in plenty of time and were warmly welcomed by our two drivers for the day. They were excellent in every way; friendly, polite, trustworthy, enthusiastic. We enjoyed the guided tours, though the two guides spoke a little too fast for us to follow. That was a shame, even though we did ask them to go slower. The car was new. Very smart and driven with care and safely. Our hotel was not easy to find but the guys son worked it out and we arrived as the sun set. I would recommend the tour.

The tour was exceptional covering the Famous other historical sites. Our tour guide Mohammed was super friendly and knowledgeable taking time to explain the history and always checking if we had more questions or wanted more explanation. An amazing experience I would highly recommend anyone looking for a well organised tour in Luxor.

If you’re thinking about booking a tour in Luxor, let me save you some time: just go with Mo (Mahmoud Haggag). Our guide wasn’t just good—he was the kind of amazing that clearly shows he has a degree in Egyptology and stand-up comedy. We visited five incredible sites, each one brought to life by Mo’s stories, jokes, and “wait for it…” cliffhangers. Just when I thought the day couldn’t get any better, we got the chance to visit an extra tomb (for an extra payment) —absolutely worth it and honestly one of the highlights of the day. And let’s talk about the food: the restaurant was delicious. After exploring ancient wonders under the Egyptian sun, that meal tasted like pure victory. All in all, an unforgettable day full of history, laughs, and genuinely great company. Highly recommend—especially if you get Mo. He turns a good tour into a legendary one.
