  Everything about our day tour was excellent--easy, timely, informative, comfortable; and our guide was able to accommodate a late schedule change so we avoided going on a day of heavy rain. My partner and I would definitely use Exceptional Tours Greece again, possibly for a multi-day tour this time.

  We booked a full day, private Athens tour and it exceeded our expectations. All of the main Athens attractions were included, the itinerary was well organized and flexible when needed. The Mercedes-Benz van was very comfortable, ideal for a the long day of sightseeing. Our guide was very knowledgeable with a deep understanding of Greek history, which he conveyed in a very engaging manner. He was very patient, answered all questions in detail and communicated with excellent English skills. Driving throughout the day was very professional, it provided an overall sense of safety. For the Acropolis Tour, including the Acropolis Museum, he arranged a special guide with extensive knowledge and attention to detail, which added to be positive experience. This was included in the package. Highly recommended for anybody looking for a high-quality, informative and comfortable way to experience Athens.

  Had a delightful time with Theodore on our tour of Delphi. We especially appreciated his flexibility on the tour. We were not rushed or on a time table like with many bus tours. It was nice not to have to show up at stops with 50 other people. He provided an excellent background on the sites visited and on Greek mythology. He was also great at answering our many random questions about Greece and life in Greece.

  This is a premium tour without the premium price tag. We were a group of 17 and without a doubt one of the best tours we have experienced. Communication is excellent, timely and accurate. This company did everything they could to make our experience easy and memorable. The driver Val, a great driver, was happy to answer all questions and spoke English very well. He knows all the ins and outs of the city and the best way to keep everything flowing perfectly. We loved everything about Athens and our private tour. Whether your group is big or small, choose this tour!

  Our driver John was excellent in every regard. He prepped us before each stop with appropriate history facts and tips for efficiently spending our time. He is passionate about Athens and a pleasure to spend a day with. He is also flexible to meet our needs and customize our trip. I would highly recommend this company for a private tour.

  My husband and I did a full day tour with Yiannis as our driver and could not have asked for a better experience. Theodore was helpful when setting up the tour in making sure our expectations would be met and they were. Yiannis was exceptional! He went above and beyond in making sure we were comfortable and tailored the trip to us personally. We chose to have a licensed guide for the day and these guys set up an amazing guide who was a wealth of knowledge. He accompanied us to many places in Athens, including the Acropolis as well as Corinth. Everyone was very personable, yet professional. We were made to feel safe and special all day and we will be using this company again and asking for Yiannis as our driver!

  We did the 4 day trip - Corinth, Nafplion, Olympia, Delphi, and Meteora. My husband is a slow walker with balance issues, having Parkinsonisms. Theodore decided to take us himself. He was so considerate to get the vehicle as close as possible so my husband didn't have to walk too far. He offered great places to eat. We had souvlaki on a skewer from a food truck that was outstanding! We wanted local food and we were never disappointed. There were stops in-between the major points of interest that we throughly enjoyed. The private guides were patient, knowledgeable, and maneuvered us around tour groups in the museums. We met a few of Exceptional's other drivers along the journey, and their clients thought their drivers were great as well. We would use Exceptional Tours Greece again and recommend to others.

  How to tell you just don't waste time and book this tour company without doing pages and pages of how they anticipated every wish we had. The conversation with our driver felt like he was family (Alex). The guides we had got us in and told us more than most professors would have been able to. The places we ate and stayed at were better than the places I would have picked. We all felt like we were special friends who were getting spoiled.
