The Acropolis,Propylaea,Temple of Athena Nike, Erechthion,Parthenon the theater of Dionysos,the Roman Odeon and the Areopagus the Panathenaic Stadium where the first modern Olympic Games were revived on 1896 ,the Presidenstial Mansion, the ex-Royal Palace where you can enjoy the traditional Change of the Guards.Then the three buildings of knowledge (the University, the Academy, the National Library) the Parliament building and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the Old Greek Parliament.
The Lycabetus hill the Roman Agora in the famous Plaka.You’ll admire there the tower of the winds and the library of Adrian. At the end we’ll finish with a walk in the flee market at Monasiraki next to Plaka.

Acropolis
The Athens sightseeing tour starts by visiting the imposing naturally fortified hill of the Acropolis. The tour includes a walk that travels the visitors through ancient times in one of the oldest cities in the world, which was considered as the cradle of the western civilization, birthplace of the philosophy, the theatre and the democracy. By passing the monumental gate of Propylaea you’ll see the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechteion and the Parthenon. You will enjoy the panoramic view of Athens and Piraeus port. At the foot of the Acropolis hill you’ll see the ancient theater of Dionysos (the oldest theatre of the world), the Odeon of Herodus Atticus and the Areopagus (Mars Hill).
The Temple of Athena Nike is a temple on the Acropolis of Athens, dedicated to the goddesses Athena and Nike. Built around 420 BC, the temple is the earliest fully Ionic temple on the Acropolis.

5.00Excellent 3 hour tour of Athens! Driver met us as we exited the chaotic cruise port - holding a sign with our name like a beacon. It could not have been easier to find him. He quickly escorted us to the car, loaded the luggage and we were off! The driver drove and talked about what we were seeing and what we were about to see at the Acropolis. We had timed tickets purchased earlier at the instruction of the guide. He drove us right up to the gate of the Acropolis with detailed instruction is where to enter, what we would see, and an approximate time we would finish. We were told to call him once we started walking out of the exit. He met us where he dropped us off and we’re back on tour. He showed us the presidential offices, we saw changing of the guard from our car, and a modern day amphitheater. After a few mired sights and commentary we headed tot he Athens airport for our flight home. This was a perfect short tour of Athens with Acropolis! Our luggage was secure with our driver the whole time. Thank you so much!

This was one of our favorite days of our trip because everything was well thought out which let us have a fun relaxing day with our family. 5.00All of the positive reviews I read before the trip are correct. We had a great half-day (5 hours actually) tour of Athens, which is exactly what we needed for our two-night stopover. Our driver Socrates was perfect. He is very kind, humble, informative, and customer-focused. We can't say enough good things about him. We saw the key sights that we wanted, and Socrates was always flexible enough to make changes if required. 100% recommended.

5.00The guy who gave us the tour made extra stops that were not in the itinerary. He explained the history of different things and had visuals, i.e a map, photos. He got us tickets for the Acropolis before the tour which really helped. Along with that, he gave us postcards and a book about the stops we were making.
