This tour was honestly one of the highlights of my solo trip to Atlanta. I’ve been to the city twice before, but this was the first time I truly got to understand its culture and the deeper story behind the Civil Rights Movement and Black history. There were only two of us on the tour, but our guide, Eb, made it such a fun and personal experience. He was warm, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable. It felt like spending the day with someone who genuinely loves what he does. He even introduced us to local entrepreneurs along Sweet Auburn Avenue, and we got to meet people, try great food, and learn about the community in such an authentic way. We were supposed to finish around 1:30 PM, but Eb took us to a few more places and we ended up wrapping up at 2:30. He really went the extra mile to make sure we saw everything. Coming from the Philippines, I didn’t grow up learning much about Black history, so this tour gave me a completely new perspective. It was eye-opening, inspiring, and very moving. If you’re visiting Atlanta, I’d say this is a must-do. I’d 100% do it again, and I can’t recommend Eb enough!

Great way to learn about the black history and current community in Atlanta. Interesting facts about past and current stars, most of which were unknown to us. Couple of stops to stretch our legs and get a fresh nose, but felt trapped when we stopped at the African shop (30' break in a secluded shop feels like a trap). Our tour guide did his best to create a great ambiance in the van. He was a very proud citizen and knew many little factoids I'm very keen on. We traveled quite a distance across the city which was a great opportunity to get to now Atlanta.
