Come experience the adventure of a lifetime on board the Atlantis Submarine! Your adventure begins at the Shallow Draught where you will check in with the friendly Reservations Agent. Your quest begins when you board the shuttle vessel "Ocean Quest" as you sit back and enjoy the seven-minute scenic cruise to the Atlantis Submarine as the Atlantis crew gives an informative talk.

Atlantis Submarines Barbados

On the hour we invite you to board our transfer vessel the Ocean Quest, which will take you to the submarine. Sit back and enjoy the brief boat ride to the Atlantis dive site along the scenic coastline, as the professional crew welcomes you and gives a safety briefing. The vessels tie up alongside each other and you make the easy transfer from the Ocean Quest to the Atlantis Submarine. After securing the hatches and being seated in the air-conditioned comfort, the call is made to: “Dive! Dive! Dive!” You are now fully submerged in the aquamarine Caribbean Sea with large viewports all around, as curious exotic fish peek in at you and sea fans sway. This unique “must-do” undersea voyage, can take you to a shipwreck and to depths of 150 feet, which in the past has been reserved only for scuba divers. A knowledgeable co-pilot narrates the 40 minute underwater adventure and will help you to identify the amazing sights on the other side of your window.

Hi this is not a review of sorts, I was hoping to get a reply from sherry. I’m booked on for January 26. From the Iona. I’m a biggest chap with long legs, and have bad knees. Will I be ok ? Tks

A great experience diving down to the reef in a submarine. Felt very safe and it was fascinating to be so close to the bottom. Lots of fish, and Glen gave lots of information about what we were seeing. Just to note that you need to allow 1.5-2 hours - it’s 45 minutes (ish) in the sub but it takes time to get out there and back.
Absolutely brilliant, well worth the money!

This was a brilliant experience, and one of the most fun holiday activities I have ever done. We saw a huge number of fish, coral and even a turtle! And you are able to get close up to a shipwreck on the ocean floor. The check in was very quick and then you have a nice boat trip for 15 mins or so to the submarine. We paid extra for the premium seats behind the pilot, which was totally worth it as you then get the view out of the front and your hatches. You definitely want to be up that end. There’s some commentary on what’s around the submarine from the co-pilot and it was all a lot of fun. Would definitely recommend!

This submarine excursion was the highlight of my stay in Barbados in July 2025. My family and I totally enjoyed the experience. Xario and the entire Atlantis crew were amazing! We were comfortable onboard the submarine, educated about sea life and most importantly we felt safe… especially me. I was apprehensive about being deep under water. Thank you, Xario and Team Atlantis! It’s a 10/10 for me 🙌🏽

Nice experience for the whole family to go down to 140 feet under water, see a shipwreck, lots of fish and explore the reef. It was well organised, entertaining and worth the time and money.

Great run, take a ship out to the submarine and then dive! Proper diving... very nice captain, as well as the crew extremely experienced. The underwater world on the tour is really unique, we were very impressed. Tour was booked via "Mein Schiff" during a cruise, everything worked out great. Can only recommend...
