Picked up by Ahmed our driver in Bab Doukhala and taken to the mountains (approx 1.5 hr drive) Ahmed explained all about the various areas where we stopped for photos and told us about the Berber people - he lives in the Berber village that we visited. We declined the camel ride but stopped for photos ‘Breakfast’ stop at midday by the river - pancakes and assorted oil dips with tea. We declined the Argan oil demo as we’d bought some the day before and didn’t want another hard sell. They seemed OK with that. Picked up Hamid our local guide who we walked with to the waterfall. Says it’s flat but it isn’t really. Some areas of path are very rocky and it’s quite high up! Hamid was a very chatty, personable young man with a good sense of humour. Waterfall was very underwhelming but the valley views were worth the walk (approx 1 hour round trip) Optional ‘lunch’ was supposed to be next but we declined as it was after 3pm and we didn’t want anything to eat!
Great way to see the surrounding countryside.

Great trip into the Atlas Mountains and a hike to the waterfall (not for the faint hearted). Our guide Samira was very friendly and informative, we learned a lot about the Berber culture and history.

The tour was well-organised and you get to see a lot of different things. The only downside was that the camel ride was a bit staged.

We had a very enjoyable n fulfilled day tour. The pickup and drop off from and back to our hotel were smooth and on time. Everything communicated well in advance with the tour operator. The day tour itself was fun. Breakfast offered for free in the village was delicious. The various stops at scenic points were nice n not in a rush. Camel ride was fun. Lunch at a terrace restaurant was delicious, even though chicken tagine was a bit overcooked n potatos a bit undercooked. Beautiful sceneries around the waterfall. Hike was pleasant. Our guide was helpful n professional. All in all, I highly recommend this day tour.

Thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Great to see more of Morocco - countryside, rock desert, High Atlas, mountain villages, short hike to waterfall - all well worth seeing. Loved the camel ride. Excellent lunch. Overall, very good value for money. It turned out to be 9 hours rather than the 7 hour description. Could have cut out the last photo stop and I wouldn't have missed it. Redouane was a great guide and Mohamed an excellent driver! Would recommend without hesitation.

We did a private tour and were picked up ar a meeting point by our driver Omar. He was excellent and we really enjoyed our tour with him. Mohmed took us on our treck to the waterfall, he was very knowledgeable and a great guide. Lunch is a must - amazing views and great food was really impressed with service and quality for the price. Amazing day trip Omar and Mohmed looked after us really well and were an excellent driver and guide.

I had an amazing Atlas Mountains tour with Fatima Ezzahra — truly one of the highlights of my trip to Morocco. She was warm, knowledgeable, and made the whole day feel smooth and special. I loved having tea on the side of the mountain trail, the camel ride, and our stop at the Moroccan argan oil cooperative where we enjoyed a wonderful traditional breakfast with honey and fresh breads. Lunch overlooking the mountain peak was absolutely fabulous. Highly recommend this tour and Fatima as a guide — a fantastic experience from start to finish. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Really good trip. Great communication from company. Driver on time and our guide very good. Can be cold up mountain Wear sensible footwear. Optional lunch looked decent. Overall a great day and such good value !

It was a full day of great, interesting stops. Unfortunately due to rain we didn’t get to the waterfall. Would liked it if our guide talked more during the drive - about the landscape, crops, people, etc. He was great at answering questions, which we did. Also, it would have been helpful if the guides had microphones in the van. Great communication about pick up places. We received a text the night before telling us it was going to be cold and to wear warm clothes…most of us overdressed and should have had lighter layers. From a Canadian perspective it was a beautiful day and not cold at all (22 degrees C)! You sit out in the sun at most stops.
