Strongly recommended year round, the Atlas valleys and villages trekking options are for those not intent on climbing Toubkal. They offer, in our opinion, the best mountain scenery and Berber villages within the Imlil and Toubkal National Park area. And because they stay below the snowline, they are accessible in the winter to all regardless of experience.

After breakfast in your place in Marrakech, you’ll be picked up from your accommodation or near by a professional driver toward the Atlas Mountains through Ghighaya and Asni valleys. Enjoy the beautiful views of the villages along the way to Imlil area, where you will meet your mountain guide and your muleteer. Your 6-hours hike will begin with a simple climb to Tizi Mzik Pass (2684m) where you will stop and have lunch with spectacular views of Imlil Valley and Toubkal (the highest peak in North Africa).if you like to extand the walk you can climb to Tasghgimout plateau for a panoramic view (optional ) Then you will continue to visit the summer village of tamsoult then you will go down to Azzaden Valley through the juniper forest to reach Tizi Oussem where you will spend the night in a guest house (simple jite )

Enjoy a delicious breakfast and sunbath with beautiful view of a colorful valley and its wonderful typical Berber villages. Then you will leave Tizi Oussem and continue climbing toward Id Issa village and Tizi Oudid pass (2000m), then you will cross Matat village to reach a forest of wild juniper trees. You will have lunch under the shade of the walnut trees while relaxing by the river and enjoying a unique view over the valley before you join your vehicle toward Marrakech at around 16pm.

5.00Amazing trip in the Atlas Mountains and then an amazing 4 days trip to the desert. Both our guides (witch names were both Abdou) were great - so nice and pleasant and Abdou (for the desert trip) was a good and safe driver as well! We had many interesting visits to small villages and local markets and amazing nature - we felt that we got to see the «real Morocco». In addition we had some interesting talks with Abdou about the Moroccan culture. Would absolutely recommend!

5.00We had a fantastic time. Abdou our guide was great, he was very attentive and great company. The food was amazing and kept us fuelled on our hike. We really appreciated everything that Abdou, Mohammed, Mohammed, Brahim and the 2 wonderful mules did for us over the trip. Could not recommend it more. Thank you!

5.00One of the best experiences I had during my stay in Morocco. Brahim and Abdul are two very nice guides who know a lot about the trail, Imlil and the villages around Imlil. You can see that they love what they do and they want to share that passion with everyone who walks with them. Would 100% recommend going on an hike with these guys.

5.00We had a great trip with Abdul and Brahim! The tour was perfect to enjoy the Atlas mountains for a few days. They where great guides! Also the food during the hike was really good. I would really recomend to book this hike!

5.00Me and my four girlfriends did the 4 day Sahara Desert tour and it was some of the best 4 day that we could’ve asked for! Brahim was an amazing guide and Mustafa our driver made us all feel very safe on the roads. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

5.00The entire trip was fantastic from when we first started organising the event until we were dropped back in Marrakech right at the end. The guide team were unbelievably friendly, and made sure the whole team safely summited the mountain. Brahim was so helpful all the way through, answering all our questions and being incredibly accommodating. Can’t recommend these guys highly enough, and we will be using them again for our next trip.

5.00We had a fantastic 2 days hiking through the Atlas Mountains in a small group of 4. Brahim was wonderfully knowledgeable and enthusiastic and made the trip for us - we felt very lucky to have him as our guide. The other two guides cooked our meals and mules carried our bags and supplies the whole way. The whole landscape was stunning with constantly changing views of snowcapped peaks, Berber villages, picturesque rivers valleys and mountain plateaus. The Berber house we stayed in was cosy, with plenty of blankets to keep us warm when the temperatures plummeted at night. It was located very much off the beaten track with views from the roof terrace stretching right across the valley. We were also provided with delicious food and snacks throughout the trip, including: barley porridge for breakfast, harira soup, tagine, salads, and all the mint tea you could ask for. We found it extremely enjoyable, cost-effective and well-organised. The price included food and refreshments for 2 days, transport to and from Marrakesh, a night’s stay in a Berber house, guides and mules for 2 days. We’d absolutely recommend this trip to anyone looking to explore the Atlas Mountains for more than just a day and would love to come back again for longer to explore the mountains more. Simply amazing!!

5.00Absolutely SPECTACULAR! This was truly one of the greatest adventures I have ever experienced! Breathtaking views! Hassan was an amazing guide and the food from our cook/muleteer was the best I had throughout our trip to Morocco! As a 52 year old woman with my husband and two much younger friends, it was “me and the boys” and we enjoyed every second of the experience! I will advise that the trek is much harder than I expected just making the entire experience even more powerful because we can say “WE DID IT!” I cannot say enough good things about this trip! You have to experience it for yourself!

5.00We did the two day hike to Mt Toubkal with Climbing Toubkal and would totally recommend it. The landscape is beautiful and the early morning hike to see the sunset over the mountains at the summit is breathtaking. The experience with our tour operator Climbing Toubkal was also very good, our guide Mohammed and the cook that came with us were very friendly and helpful, the food was pretty good (especially considering the remote location!), and communication worked very well both with Brahim and our tour guide. Given that the refuge we stayed at after the first night was fully booked, Brahim had offered that we could also stay in a tent next to the refuge. While in the end we decided to rather stay in the refuge we liked that we were given another option :)
