The route runs along famous "dacha" houses of the locals. There you can spot ineresting landscapes, have a sneak peek at locals' gardens and very specific architecture of the houses.

Then we head off towards currently decommissioning Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant where a part of "Chernobyl" series have been shooted. Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant is of a very similar construction to Chernobyl's one, but is more powerful - it's a RBMK 1500. The plant is located on Drūkšiai lake which is divided by 2 countries: Belarus and Lithuania.

Please note! make sure you have passport or ID card with you (driving licence won't do), you might need it in case of border check.

Half-way through the tour we will have a short break and enjoy the industrial surroundings of the place. It's time for you to have some rest and share the impressions over a cup of hot tea.

Be ready to hear about the history of the plant, its present-day situation and about the connection to "Chernobyl" series.

What an excellent trip! I started with the Atomic Ride with Anton, then the Visaginas and simulator tours with Anastasija. I definitely got a little muddy and had a challenge getting through some of the wettest area (it had just rained) but he got me through it and I think my shoes survived haha! It was interesting hearing about how the town was created and the simulator was incredible! I wish I was able to come back to see the actual reactor but it’s a very long wait… we had lunch in the canteen though which was quite tasty! I’d definitely recommend LitWild and will hope to do another tour if I’m back in Lithuania! FYI the train station in Visaginas seems quite far from their office but a 10 minute (free) bus ride and 10 minute walk get you there easily…

My wife and I did three tours with LIt Wild while we in Lithuania. We did a hike, the atomic ride and we visited the control room simulator for Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant. All three experiences were top-notch. Our guides are knowledgable, safety-conscious and charming. Yes, the bike ride was challenging but in the best way possible. We came out of it exhilarated and muddied (as promised). Anton had a wonderful way of gauging our stamina and customizing our tour on the fly. Lunch in the power plant canteen was an added bonus. Thank you for educating and entertaining us. You fed our minds, hearts and souls as you showed us a slice of the real Lithuania.

Anton and Anastasija are very friendly people. We enjoyed talking with them before and after our self guided tour. Good material en good route with a app who also gives information. We recommend them highly!

Excellent trip. Anton was a super guide who knows everything and everyone on the trip - and he is very pleasant to be on a trip with. He solved every problem so that the trip was good for both children and adults. You can clearly feel his pride in showing off the area, not least the beautiful nature and the nice people who live there. Can definitely be recommended!

What an awesome tour with Anton! Exhilarating, energetic and mega fun, filled with plenty of laughs. Through Visaginas, countryside dachas and onto the Ignalina NPP for lunch in the canteen, plus a few surprises thrown in en-route. Made some great memories whilst on this tour.

It was a lot of snow this day, so about 20km was challenging, but trully amazig. Lot of intresting spots and things to see. Amazing ride! Amazing route, amazing Anton! Big thanks to all Litwild team! <3
