This is a Guided Tour to discover secluded beaches on an off-roading adventure that takes you off the main road through mountains and rivers to explore parts of the region that are only accessible by all-terrain-vehicles. Independent travelers can choose their own ATV and experience the excitement of driving, while couples or families with kids can choose a 2 or 4 Seater BUGGY or a double ATV as well (driver + passenger) and ride together.
Important: If you are an adult and want to go as a passenger on a Double ATV, select option KID. Minimum for a Tour to run is 1 ATVs or 1 Buggy.

The tour will start & finish the tour at The 506 Transfers & Tours Headquarters located at Huacas, the only Tour Company with a driving test ride. Once your training ride is concluded, and all your comfortable and ready, you’ll start your tour.
Playa Mina
Costa Rica is known for its beautiful white sandy beaches that are all around the coast. The Blackstone Beach is just the opposite, its a beautiful black sand beach. Next to the Blackstone Beach is also Playa Minas & Puerto Viejo (next to reserva conchal). We will visit 2 beaches based on the driving skills of the group.

5.00We were at the Westin Reserva Conchal. It was a seamless pickup and drop-off. A/C worked fine. Only 15-20 mins to the place. Clean bathrooms. We had a UTV, top of the line, fully gassed up. We saw three beaches, a pit stop at a cool local bar, saw Howler Monkeys Reynols spotted and pulled over. Bring bandanas or buy them at the shop for $5. Wear the goggles, and closed toe shoes. You will get dirty, but it was a blast!

4.00Well worth the time to see 3 majestic beaches. Tour guide Reynols was very good, friendly and knowledgible. Only negative was that some trails had cars using them as well bc we were on back roads in town at times otherwise fantastic.

5.00greate experience.. good for beginners! don’t get dirty or soaked,either. You can test it out if you’re nervous and go with a guide if you want a ride. It’s great either way.

5.00We booked with 506 Tours and it ended up being one of the most fun things we did on our whole trip. Gustavo was the best tour guide — so friendly, funny, and made us feel super comfortable on the ATVs, even though it was our first time. He had so much cool knowledge about the area, the wildlife, and the geography. Carlos was an awesome driver and kept the whole day running smoothly. We even stopped for some really good piña coladas and got to enjoy the beach for a bit, which made the experience even better. Truly such a fun, memorable day — we’d 100% recommend them to anyone visiting Costa Rica!

5.00Gustavo was an amazing guide and we had so much fun! He was personable and knowledgeable. They upgraded our tour length for a very fair price and even prepared some very delicious pineapple for us to celebrate the ride. Based on the off-season booking, we even got a private tour upgrade for free! Highly recommend this company.

5.00Hilmar was exceptional! My wife and I took our boys, age 10 and 11, and this was my wife's favorite part of our trip. Hilmar was very clear in his direction, went at a great pace, and showed us some beautiful beaches. We saw Howler Monkeys and parts of Costa Rica we wouldn't have seen otherwise. Ask for Hilmar. You will have a great time!
