This is a Guided Tour to discover secluded beaches on an off-roading adventure that takes you off the main road through mountains and rivers to explore parts of the region that are only accessible by all-terrain-vehicles. Independent travelers can choose their own ATV and experience the excitement of driving, while couples or families with kids can choose a 2 or 4 Seater BUGGY or a double ATV as well (driver + passenger) and ride together.
Important: If you are an adult and want to go as a passenger on a Double ATV, select option KID. Minimum for a Tour to run is 1 ATVs or 1 Buggy.

What To Expect
Huacas
The tour will start & finish the tour at The 506 Transfers & Tours Headquarters located at Huacas, the only Tour Company with a driving test ride. Once your training ride is concluded, and all your comfortable and ready, you’ll start your tour.
Playa Mina
Costa Rica is known for its beautiful white sandy beaches that are all around the coast. The Blackstone Beach is just the opposite, its a beautiful black sand beach. Next to the Blackstone Beach is also Playa Minas & Puerto Viejo (next to reserva conchal). We will visit 2 beaches based on the driving skills of the group.

5.00This was hands down the best experience we had during our trip to Costa Rica. Traveling through towns gave us a glimpse of local culture and stunning views of the rain forest. We stopped at 2 gorgeous beaches off the beaten path. Our guides were so friendly and informative. We loved every minute of it. Even our hard-to-please teenager loved it!
Fun Experience and Great Way To See Hidden Beaches

5.00We booked a three-hour tour that provided transportation to and from our hotel. Our driver was on time and very friendly. When we got to the ATV place, which is run by 506 Transfers, we spent a few minutes going over safety rules and how to operate the ATV. Then we were off! Our tour guide was great. He was super friendly, funny, and took us to a bunch of hidden gems. We saw beaches that were off the beat trail, literally. We went through villages, rural farm areas, and the jungle. We saw all kinds of wildlife. Stopping at the restaurant at the beach for a break was one of my favorite things. The view and location are simply breathtaking. The food was super delicious and good. After our break we head back to where we started. Due to some heavy rain the night before we used the ATVs to ford more than one pass. The vehicles were simple to operate and nothing ever felt dangerous. The ATVs do kick up a decent amount of dirt. So, wear clothes you are ok with getting dirty and if you didn’t bring your own bandana or face protection, you can buy one at the start, which I highly recommend. It was an incredible experience from start to end and I highly recommend it.

5.00Amazing experience to do with kids. The 4 people buggy option was perfect for us. I loved that they brought us through jungle to 2 beautiful beaches we absolutely loved. Without that tour we would have missed out on 2 of the nicest beaches. Our guide Juan was very friendly and made sure everyone was comfortable and having the best time. We would absolutely recommend and we wish we could do it again.

5.00506 is professional, organized and fun! One of our routes was blocked because of a stalled vehicle and the guides changed route quickly and with ease. My ATV wasn’t working well and they swapped me a new one without disrupting the tour at all. They kept us safe at traffic crossings and were knowledgeable about the area and beaches. Thank you!
