This is a Guided Tour to discover secluded beaches on an off-roading adventure that takes you off the main road through mountains and rivers to explore parts of the region that are only accessible by all-terrain-vehicles. Independent travelers can choose their own ATV and experience the excitement of driving, while couples or families with kids can choose a 2 or 4 Seater BUGGY or a double ATV as well (driver + passenger) and ride together.

Important: If you are an adult and want to go as a passenger on a Double ATV, select option KID. Minimum for a Tour to run is 1 ATVs or 1 Buggy.

This was such a fun experience! Everything was great from the timely pick up at my hotel, the guide, and the views along the way. It gets dusty so bring a neck buff or bandana, or buy one from them when you get there. Highly recommended.

Don’t waste your time ! They go like 2 mph and their so called refreshments and local fruit included one piece of pineapple on a toothpick and a bottle of water after we asked for it / nothing adventurous about it at ALL find another tour !

Hilmar was a nice guide but we got a little frustrated that our tour started almost 2 late. They offered to extend it by another 30 minutes and take us to another beach but we didn’t want this to eat up our whole last day there. Another family rented a 4 seater and their tour started after ours and they didn’t have the right side by side on property so we had to wait until it got there. The last half of the tour was nice, but the first half was slow riding down dirt roads and we got a little bored. After the first hour we stopped and told the driver we wanted to go faster and he accommodated us. I’d recommend checking in on the group earlier to see how comfortable they were with the speed based on level.

The three of us enjoyed the ATV over the back roads. Visiting the beautiful isolated beaches was a treat. Stopping for a drink at Playa de Real was perfect and we had a fab piña colada. The company offered us a 30 minute jet ski ride for $150 and make our ATV private tour. We took them Up on this. Great cooling fun riding the jet skis and getting a closer look at Conchal and Flamingo. Highly recommend you wear water shoes since the beach at Puerto Viejo is very rocky. Only disappointing thing was we saw no animals. Since it is dry season there was no running through mud puddles or streams which I did in Manuel Antonio National Park.
