The tour was an invaluable insight into some of the events and places which have helped to shape Auckland into the modern, vibrant city it is today. Paula’s obvious passion for Auckland and her warm and friendly personality made for a highly enjoyable experience.

I recently joined a small group walking tour of Auckland City with Paula, the guide behind “Auckland Story,” and it was a thoroughly enjoyable and insightful experience. Our group of five made for a relaxed and personal atmosphere, and Paula’s knowledge of Auckland’s history added real depth to the walk. The tour was well-paced, and Paula shared a range of interesting historical facts that brought the city’s past to life. It was clear she’s deeply passionate about Auckland and its stories, and we all walked away having learned something new. Paula offers both guided walking tours and self-guided Voicemap audio tours, which makes it easy to explore Auckland in a way that suits your schedule. I’d highly recommend her tours to both locals and visitors looking to discover more about the city’s heritage in an engaging way.
