We are about to introduce you to the most original, ultimately fun, and a fantastic way of experiencing the Northern lights. Take a dip in a frozen lake under the Northern lights!
Swimming in an icy lake sounds like a challenge, but once you put on our floating suits, you won't feel cold. In fact, you will feel amazing! The suits are made of a light waterproof material that will keep you warm and safe.

After a hotel pick up, we will take a 25-minute drive to a lake where our Northern lights adventure will take place. Once we give you some tips, go through safety instructions, and dress you up in our suits, you can take a dip in the icy lake and enjoy the sky above you. Swimming takes place in an icy hole, and we guarantee that you won't be cold! In fact, you will feel amazing. The suits will keep you warm so you can relax and enjoy the starry skies above you. Northern lights are a natural phenomenon, and we cannot guarantee that you will get to see them. Why? Because, nature is unpredictable and as much as we wish to look at the lights every night, sometimes we won't be that lucky. However, we organize this tour from autumn to spring when the chances of seeing Northern lights are the highest! To give you the best Lappish experience we'll serve warm drinks by an open fire, share some cookies and have our cozy wooden cottage available for those who want to snuggle up before we head back. The adventure usually last for 3 hours. That's plenty of time to enjoy swimming in the icy waters!

5.00Such a fun experience! I thought my feet or hands would get wet but I stayed totally dry. It truly was a great time and the guides were lovely and very encouraging!

1.00SKIP THEM if you want basic decency—plenty of other tour outfits in Rovaniemi that do it way better and actually understand the meaning of customer service. Awful experience which actually left a bad taste for the place. We got stuck with a rude guy who came to pick us up from our hotel and insisted that we get in the back row of an empty van for no good reason (except that it was how he did things), even though one of us is 6’2” and has knee pain. When we politely asked to switch to a better spot up front, the driver Brandon just shut us down. He basically said “it looks fine to me”. Every question was answered with the same phrase, whether it made sense or not. We then proposed one of us sits where he wants and the tall person sits up front anywhere except the back row (as it couldn’t be moved and was extremely uncomfortable for someone tall). The answer was no and he then proceeded to not even let us sit in the van and stand outside in -25, while he went and sat in the van. We then received a call from their office which wasn’t much better in that they were not only rude as well but also suggested the same solution that we anyway suggested to the driver but ofcourse he refused to listen to us. Made the whole day stressful and felt like there might’ve been some racial bias playing into how they treated us. Not only did we not receive a refund / constructive solution despite having paid upfront weeks in advance, this was the last day of our trip and it spoilt our entire mood. After checking other reviews, seems like bad staff vibes are a theme and we shouldn’t have booked with them.

5.00Brendan my friend- thank you for one of the most meditative, cool and unique experience. He was funny, assuring , quick with and absolutely felt like a friend. He has got a knack for understanding humans and also clicking pictures. Would recommend this to anyone going to Finland.

5.00We were picked up as organised from our hotel by Mattia, who introduced himself and directed us to the waiting minibus. En-route to the lake he noticed Northern Lights in the sky so pulled into a lay-by so we could get out and get some photos. After about 10 minutes we continued to the cabin / lake. Once in the cabin he explained what to do and proceeded to get us into our thermal wet suits. Throughout the whole evening Mattia made sure everyone was ok and helped anyone who needed more assistance. He took one phone from the group to take photos with and then these were shared when we were all back in the cabin. Once back in the cabin there was hot juice and biscuits for anyone that wanted it. The experience was very well organised and Mattia is very knowledgable about the Northern Lights, photography and local area. All in all a great evening and made better by the friendly fun nature of Mattia coupled with his professionalism to ensure all were safe. Thank you !!

5.00Amazing experience to create memories. It was something new and exciting and a bizarre experience that I would say is a must when visiting Lapland. The staff were friendly and set you at ease but at the same time professional. The trip left you with a feeling of personal achievement.

5.00A visit in June 2025 enabled us to try the survival suit floating experience. It was amazing but left us wanting to try it again - in the ice. -35c outside and plenty of ice. Hole made, in we got. Careful and clear instructions and guidance from the team and everyone well set for the adventure. Phenomenal time and such a memorable thing to do. A really nice location, not too far out from the centre and with good , warm space to get changed and then enjoy hot juice and cookies afterwards

5.00Incredible experience in the middle of the forest with a very cozy cottage to prepare warm around a huge radiator with a snack composed of local produce this really a moment at the top!

5.00Ice floating was incredibly fun and unlike anything else we’ve done. Although we didn’t see the northern lights due to the brightness of the full moon, we were lucky enough to see several shooting stars, which made the night feel magical in its own way. The guide was fantastic—friendly, professional, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and had a great time. Even without the aurora, this was absolutely worth it and a highlight of our trip. Highly recommend.

5.00Very nice experience, and it was possible to witness one-of-a-kind Aurora sightings, so worth it!! The drive was super easy to reach the destination. The Glogi was so refreshing.
