Already old cultures considered northern lights as one of the most extraordinary and spectacular experience which is never twice the same. That’s why we can chase aurora again and again with hope that tonight it will be surprising and colorful as never before.

If you would like to experience this tour with us, we will take you to some of the best places to watch northern lights where we will be surrounded with magnificent mountains and fjords far away from the city lights and busy civilization. During whole tour we stay in touch with other experienced guides for getting their weather updates and we follow 3 different weather forecasts to make right conclusions where to go.

With our two full frame cameras will are ready to take portraits of you with northern lights in the background, plus northern lights and scenery photos. Timelapse/video we offer in case of nice strong aurora activity. We will gladly help you with our warm dresses and camera tips which you may need here in Arctic.

Take advantage of our 10 years of Aurora chasing experiences. Our friedly and knowledgeable guide will drive with you up to 250 kilometers from Tromso in order to find for you the best possible weather conditions. Once, after finding good weather location, our mission is to take nice portraits of you and Aurora, scenic photos and possibly timelapse/video, which we gladly share with you the very next day. For your comfort during every tour are icluded; our winter dresses, camp fire, tripod chairs with small reindeer skins, hot drinks served with muffins and fruits and camera tripods for DSLR and mirrorless cameras. For our custommers who wish to rest little bit, we gladly keep heated minibus at all times (new minibus Mercedes Sprinter). Our regular tours are usually 6-9 hours long depending on weather conditions and aurora activity. Arrival times to Tromsø depends alot on distance which we had to cover during our chase, and it could vary from night to night; between 1-3am.

Tromso Fjords

Tromsø fjords, mountains and journey to Finland are most frequent locations and directions, where we are chasing northern lights and best possible weather conditions. The correct choice of coastal, or innland areas increase our chances of finding clear sky for you, becuase climate is often very different around west coast comparing to innland areas, or even with climate in Finland. All locations are beautiful, yet very different. Fjords around west coast are only 1 hour away with average temperature during coldest vinter period of -5/-10 degrees Celsius. Innland areas and particurarly Finland (and border) are further away from Gulf stream(which makes coast warmer) and that is the reason why we can experience temperatures colder than minus 20 degrees Celsius in Finland, where we drive regurarly ; whenever weather forecast require that. Therefore, we are one of very few providers who offers to our custommers heatet minibus at all times (for your rest, sleep, or just to get bit warmer=).

Trust me, this is the best investment of your trip; it's worth every penny. Daniel is passionate about what he does and will try his best to show you the best Aurora experience you can have. We made 4 stops, went all the way to the Finland border, the tour lasted 9 hours, and we were graced more than once with the spectacle of nature. Nature plays a part, but without an excellent guide, knowledgeable and passionate about his work, this wouldn't be possible. Daniel was very kind and ensured our safety, heated transport all night, warm clothes, food, hot drinks, incredible photos and videos, and bathroom breaks. You can book this tour with the certainty that it will be your best experience in Tromsø.

We had a fantastic experience with Daniel our guide. He was very informative about how the Aurora may happen, how the systems work and how it is updated for 40 minutes only. He read the sky so well stopping to explain what might happen and he was 100% right. We sat around a lovely fire warming ourselves with hot drinks, muffins and fruit, which were on offer all the time. We were given warm suits to keep warm. Even on the way back he stopped the bus for us to see the amazing lights now coming from the south I would highly recommend this tour with Daniel/ Flexi tours.

This was a fantastic trip and one of the highlights of our trip to Tromso! Daniel is a fantastic guide. He works tirelessly to optimise your chances of seeing the best lights. We were lucky and had excellent activity on the night we went and saw some truly specular lights. I would highly, highly recommend booking with Daniel. He is a really friendly, warm and knowledgeable guide. He made sure we were all comfortable - keeping the minibus warm, giving us snowsuits, telling us when we would have toilet breaks, bringing plenty of fruit, tea and muffins. He even dropped everyone back at their hotels even though it was really late. Daniel then sent us all the photos and timelapses he took the next day. Thank you for an amazing experience!

This was going to be the highlight of our trip and it did not disappoint. We selected this tour after a rigourous and intense research process. This one ticked all our criterias. The guide Daniel was a fun and attentive guide. He made sure to take of everyone and ensured our well-being throughout the trip. He is knowledgeable about the Aurora and their patterns/behaviour but at the same time he managed our expectations. At last, we managed to catch a beautiful display of dancing lights that spread across their starry sky. It was a magical night that we will definitely remember forevery.

Danielle is a great light chaser! He selected the best location, best spot and waited for the best time to see the northern light. We were all amazed when we saw the dancing northern light with our own bear eyes!

There are lots of Northern Lights tours to choose from and we agonised over which; but we really wanted to give ourselves the best chance of success and that's exactly what Daniel is so good at. He's well versed in understanding the science, the data and most of all nature. When you pay a lot for an experience, you hope the tour guide will be knowledgeable, charming and hopefully funny too. Daniel is all of those things and he gives the honest impression that he cares about giving you the very best experience he can while setting your expectations fairly about what your chances are. While we were extremely fortunate with clear skies and amazing solar activity (Jan 23rd), you still want someone with Daniel's skills to give you the best of chances. My advice, don't book a large bus tour, pay more for a minivan tour, ideally this one. Then enjoy Daniel's company, muffins, fruit, hot chocolate, fruit tea, cosy suits, warm van and fire. There is no lack of effort, excellent care over bathroom breaks, plus multiple photos and timelapses all included! If nature provides, you'll have an awesome time. If it doesn't, Daniel will do his very best for you regardless!

This experience was outstanding! Our host was knowledgeable and friendly and so passionate in ensuring we maximised our northern lights experience. The thermal suits were a great touch, ensuring we were comfortable throughout the experience. I’d highly recommend this experience!

The weather was supposed to be cloudy so we were optimistic. Our host was excellent, explained how the aurora works, super knowledgeable and friendly and the warmest of individuals. His planning resulted in us seeing the lights on three planned points, each time we were blown away, the second time was special - we got to see the lights dance with the naked eye. Lots of memories made all down to this tour and the fantastic host. The finishing touch he dropped everyone back at where they were staying and insisted everyone take some treats with them. Highly recommended.

We left in very bad, snowy and stormy weather, but Daniel knew what he was doing! He checked all parameters and shared all info with us on cloud coverage, auroral activity, weather, magnetic changes, etc. - it was very interesting. It was a true challenge, but Daniel found us the right spot at the right time to see an aurora! Amazing. And he was just as happy and excited as us, truly dedicated! Daniel never gives up, while basing his decisions on real-time data and through exchange with his fellow guides (they kept updating each other the whole night via phone). I HIGHLY recommend Daniel as guide for Northern Lights!
