Come with us for your Aurora hunt for an amazing and ethical experience underneath the Aurora Borealis. Leave the light pollution in Tromsø behind and travel into the Arctic wilderness. During this activity, our small team of Aurora guides check the forecasts & use local knowledge to decide on the best place to chase the Northern Lights. When we find the best spot we will dress in warm thermal suits and boots, make a cosy campfire, and enjoy a homemade meal.
You'll be shown how to use your camera, photograph the Aurora, and our guides will take photos of you, which are provided for free in web-sized resolution after the tour.
Relax by the fire with hot chocolate before being returned back to Tromsø island to your hotel. Though there is never a guarantee of seeing this phenomenon, our experienced team of Aurora Hunters will do their best, every night of the season.

Unfortunately, the tour took place on a cloudy evening/night so it was almost impossible to catch northern lights, but our guide and our mini bus driver did everything for this tour to be good and it was! We were able to see quite a few of the northern lights despite the terrible weather conditions and that makes this tour a very good one for sure. It is a complete immersion into the wild life and real arctic cold! Thermal suits are provided and there is a lot of interesting story telling while you wait for the lights to appear. I highly recommend.

That was quite an experience! I must admit, I was a bit skeptical at first about spending so much time at night searching for Aurora. However, by the end, everything made perfect sense. Being out there with a lovely group of people and an incredible guide who could answer all our questions about the Aurora made the experience truly special. It was a magical evening, enjoying the mesmerizing lights as much as we wanted, all while staying cozy in super warm suits and shoes. The thoughtful details, like delicious soup and hot chocolate by the fire, brought back childhood memories. It was such a comforting and joyful feeling. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a unique and unforgettable adventure!

We got so lucky and saw the most beautiful lights! Our tour guides were fabulous! They said both the red and purple lights are the rarest and we got to see both! It was a fabulous night. We had saved room in our itinerary for more night to see the lights just in case but we didn't need them. It couldn't have been a more perfect night.

this excursion was wonderful!! while we didn't see the northern lights, we had a fantastic time chasing the lights and eating home cooked soup, hot coca and cookies in a traditional hut. Also, our guides JAVI & MACIEJ were fantastic!! we cannot recommend this tour enough!

We had a wonderful time! Sojo and Lucas made sure we were warmed up in our suit. Both of them kept their professional despite having a demanding family of 10 asking to go back even before the fire work is set up because they have seen THE auruora. It does dimmed the rest of us a bit but the team kept it together and still proceed as what has been planned ahead. Well done Sojo and Lucas and thank you!!
