You can count on many years of The Green Adventure Team experience, local knowledge and the finest photography. On the evening of the tour we will pick you up in front of Scandic Ishavshotel and set off on a comfortable journey in our minibus. In the minibus our expedition leader will do a small introduction about weather conditions, possibilities to see the lights and selected locations. We always work as a team, so we are in contact with other Aurora hunters to increase our chances.
Once we find the right place under the clear skies, we will get ready for the show. We will also set up a bonfire, that's the perfect time to warm up with a cup of hot drink and also roast some sweet marshmallows. By the time we will tell you some interesting stories from the north and legends about lady Aurora. Also you will have a chance to try "made in Tromso" soup, which is tailored for arctic expeditions. After the tour you will receive photos from our expedition leader.

A current valid passport is required on the day of travel as we may travel into Finland
included photos with a small watermark.
Vegetarian and vegan option is available, please advise at time of booking if required. Also inform about allergies.
Children must be accompanied by an adult. Minimum age 12 years old.
Be aware that access to proper toilets in Norwegian wilderness is very limited, sometimes even impossible. We highly recommend to use any toilet before a tour, because in many spots we don't have access to toilets during winter time.
Please inform us also about your thermal suit sizes (the same like your winter jacket), so we will make sure that we have proper size ready for you on board.
Tour is not suitable for cruise ship passengers, which are not staying overnight in Tromso. We do not guarantee that we will be back before cruise's departure as our priority is to see the northern lights. Contact us to organize private tour as an alternative

5.00Antonio was our guide for the evening and he was absolutely fantastic — very knowledgable, enthusiastic, and determined to get us to a spot where we’d see the aurora, even on a very cloudy night where we were racing against the weather. Antonio knew exactly where to go and we headed about an hour and a half south onto the mainland and then as far north as we could go there to a little clearing in a forest that he knew about. Lovely to be part of a small group in a minibus too, rather than a big coach, and the soup, hot chocolate, and marshmallows added a lush little touch! Cannot recommend this tour enough — a perfect experience!

5.00What an unbelievable experience! JJ’s enthusiasm when he saw the aurora showed us how passionate is about this. He was truly committed to spotting the northern lights. Thank you JJ and The Green Adventure! This was defenitely one of the best nights of my life.

5.00Poor weather forecats, but an amazing experience! A special shout out to Antonio, who did his best, followed his forecast and instincts and managed to provide us with the most amazing Northern Lights experience! We were worried because the forecast was not good - cloudy sky, BUT Antonio knew where to go, so he was confident, we were driving a lot, many buses stopped before us but he knew we had to go a bit further and then, in the right moment, we stopped and we had it - clear skies and massive Aurora. Couldn't have asked for a better trip, recommending 100%

5.00What a fabulous night, our guide Julien was brilliant, very friendly and knowledgeable about the aurora. We drove all the way to Finland and it was challenging initially to get a clear sky but we got there and the aurora gave us a wonderful show, so strong and all over the sky. A truly special night. This is very well organised tour, we were only 9 people which made the event even better. We had soup around the campfire and marshmallows. Great memories, I would book again with these guys

5.00JJ was a great guide! He did his very best to make sure everyone had a great time, let us know that we were free to return to the van at any point that we got too cold, and his photography skills were amazing. While the lights are out of any guide's control, they really showed up for us! We also had a great spot by a frozen lake with mountains in the background-- it was a dream. Pick up and car rides were smooth and easy, we were in the 8 person group and I would definitely recommend that group size or smaller!

5.00An incredible experience with unimaginably beautiful aurora borealis dancing in front of us in the sky. The evening was rounded off with a delicious soup and chocolate over a campfire. JJ has guided us lovingly and with a lot of knowledge through the night.
Must do "The Green Adventure" with Kat In Trompso and catch some northern lights

5.00Great outdoor with Kat, super good guide, highly recommendable. Nice tour, good hot-chocolate, fantastic rein-deer soup at a lovely camp fire. Outstanding! Extensive exploration by night even in cold weather it's the best sight with dancing lights. Earth felt experience of magic in the air.

5.00This trip was amazing. The weather was not good but JJ and our driver did a fantastic job and we saw the lights. We got some great photos and the lights were definitely amazing. This was a bucket list thing to see and thanks to this trip we experienced it.
