  We had a wonderful experience Ice floating on 20/11/25. We had a small group and so were allowed longer than usual in the frozen lake and were treated really well by Raul and Dorien! We had a great time and would fully recommend this trip, especially as Raul was able to detect early signs of the northern lights for us and so we were able to see those as well as the unique ice floating. Both staff members were more then happy to take photos of and taught us a lot about the northern lights and Rovaniemi

  For those wanting something slightly more original than the husky sleds! We had a really nice experience, with guides Martin and Christian taking good care of us as well as getting us some nice pictures. They even got my slightly nervous 6 year old relaxed enough to try the water. She is now very proud of herself for 'swimming in the arctic'. We were a group of 14, going in the lake in two smaller groups not to overcrowd the water. When waiting we saw the most amazing aurora's and got to take really beutiful pictures. Of course, that is a bit a matter of luck, some things con not be controlled, but the location is beautiful and gives you a good chance. Afterwards we got to warm up by the fire (from being outside, not from the water, one does not feel that cold). Hot drinks and some snacks provided. I would just say be aware there is transport and changing etc involved, so do not expect to be floating for 2 hours or so (although I suspect that would be too cold for most anyway).

  We went in the night (around 9.30pm) on Christmas Eve (24 Dec), and there were about 20 of us, split into 2 sessions to make it a comfortable floating experience. Gear providing was very clean. The guides were very knowledgeable and very mindful of our safety, constantly updating us throughout the whole process so that we are aware of what's happening. Ice floating can be quite scary for non-swimmers (like myself) but the guides were very assuring and made sure that we are safe. Photos and videos taken by the guide turned out great (as we couldn't bring our phones into the water). We then had marshmallows, cookies, and hot juice by the fire and that was welcoming after being out in the cold. Highly recommend this activity!

  Artemis and Valentina are the best guides of the Company. We did a wonderful tour with them. They are very kind and give as an unforgettable experience. Happy birthday Valentina! Enjoy your 30s.

  Had a fabulous time. I dressed for the cold with 3 layers & it was lovely! Our guide was reassuring & kind. The weather was cloudy but I still loved it! Great experience!

  An incredible experience! Highly recommended and to repeat! We are a family of 5, maybe for the little one who is 7 years old it was too much, but for those older than 12 and 13 years old it was an unforgettable experience!

  This was such a beautiful experience. Pick up was easy, drive to the site was comfy and the actual activity was great! We didn’t see the Aurora, but it didn’t matter, the floating was so relaxing and I stayed in for 45min, no rush (we did have a smaller group). Our guides were really nice too. After the float, I sat in the teepee by the fire and had hot drinks and snacks. Would highly recommend this experience!

  Good excursion, but there were no dry suits for small people, so my wife got cold very quickly. Too bad, otherwise it was good. Very nice staff

  Extraordinary experience, in an enchanting setting! Among all of our activities, this is the most unusual and intimate in which we have participated (couple +2 adult children). The site is delightful, chalet and kotta in a magical setting, which is not always the case with other providers. Julia and Joachim were enthusiastic and allowed us to have a memorable evening! I recommend this unusual activity with complete confidence: as surprising as it may seem, the combination keeps us warm, dry, and we have the impression of floating in space on a cozy mattress!   We booked all our excursions with Safartica and they are all top notch! Who would have ever thought of swimming in the Arctic sea? Super experience and you won't get wet!! You stay in the bath for up to 20 minutes then your body starts to get very cold and you go back to putting your thermal clothing back on! Thanks to Tia and Aleandro our super guides 🎉
