Your tour begins with picking you up from the specified address you choose. Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum is located 65 km from Kraków, in Oświęcim. The journey to The Museum will take about 1h 20 min. During the road our driver will explain to you everything about the tour, what it will look like step by step, and answer all your questions. Before your tour starts, you will have a 15-minute break for the toilet.

The first part of your tour is Auschwitz I, the former main concentration camp. You will learn everything about the beginnings of the concentration camp in this place, as well as about various things that happened there. The main part of the exhibition is located here.

5.00Jan was our driver for our tour to Auschwitz-Birkenau. The pre-tour communication was really excellent. Jan picked us up on time in a very clean and comfortable Mercedes mini van. He was a very good driver and we felt very safe and his English was excellent. The tour itself was very well organized by Touristico and although it’s a long day it’s well-worth the visit to the two memorial sites and the guide was really excellent. Bear in mind, there are lots of tour groups following each other, with just a short break to find something to eat at the small café so it’s wise to take your own sandwich/drink which you can eat/drink on one of the many benches in the parking lot (weather permitting if you are going in the winter !).

5.00We chose Touristico for this tour. So glad we did. Very good company, kept us well informed about our booking, times of pick up, etc. Picked up from our hotel. Our driver jan was right on time. He was very pleasant and also informative on the drive to the tour. Pointing out historical facts of buildings along the way. We would highly recommend this company for tour bookings. We would definately use them again.

5.00Our driver Jan picked us up punctually at the agreed meeting point. We understood everything even though we do not speak English very well. The trip is highly recommended; the lunch packages are worth their price.

5.00We had a memorable day at Auschwitz, we had a guided tour with pick up from our hotel. Jan was our driver & it was a pleasure meeting him, he explained everything very well to us, he was very informative about our tour of Auschwitz & even showed us some history of Poland on our way to Auschwitz, he was very friendly & made us feel at ease. Our tour guide at Auschwitz was Marios & he was excellent at explaining the history of Auschwitz & showing us the different buildings & telling us the history of all aspects of Auschwitz. The tour was very humbling. He was very informative & spoke clearly when he was explaining the history of Auschwitz. We would like to thank all the staff involved in our tour.

5.00We had a great transfer to Auschwitz Birkenau with Jan as our driver. He was prompt and the car was super clean! He was a safe driver and we enjoyed chatting to him and learning about life in Poland on our journey. Can’t recommend him enough!
