Haedong Yonggungsa

Haedong Yonggungsa Temple is the temple closest to the sea. Known as the site of Avalokiteshvara in Korea, it also houses the Diamond Sutra of Haedong Yonggungsa, a tangible cultural property of Busan. Here, you can witness the breathtaking panoramic view of the East Sea. The tour duration includes travel time between attractions. Please also note that the order of attractions may change or some locations may be replaced depending on weather or traffic conditions.

Cheongsapo Daritdol Observatory

The Cheongsapo Daritdol Observatory is located on the Green Railway, a walking trail created from the abandoned tracks of the Haeundae South Line. It’s a top attraction in Busan, offering views of the fishing village of Cheongsapo, beautiful coastal scenery, sunrise, and sunset. From the observatory, visitors can admire the natural scenery of Cheongsapo’s stunning coastline and view the five rocky islands, known as Daritdol, lined up all the way to the offshore lighthouse. The tour duration includes travel time between attractions. Please also note that the order of attractions may change or some locations may be replaced depending on weather or traffic conditions.

The itinerary had a good mix of things to see in Busan, but what made it was our guide, Yaho, who had a friendly, easy way about him and kept everything running at a smooth pace. He was thinking ahead but didn’t rush through the itinerary. It was a busy public holiday with crowds at all the places but he guided us through them with ease. We felt he gave us enough interesting information about each without overloading us. We honestly loved this tour and would definitely recommend it.
