  I had the best trip of my life while in Cape Town this past February. A major reason why was Tingo and the team at SantaCruise Tours. I was traveling with my mother for her 80th birthday and Tingo curated an amazing experience for her tailored to exactly what she would enjoy. Tingo is exceptionally knowledgeable and connected, professional and cultured but more importantly is a great person. I have recommended Santa Cruise Tours to all my friends traveling to SA

  What can I say about Santacruise Tours? They are AMAZING! We did SO much during our time in South Africa, and Tingo and his team were there every step of the way. They were knowledgeable and accommodating, and they made us feel like family. We felt safe and heard throughout our 8day trip. Even with our last-minute changes, they made everything happen with a smile. Santacruise Tours earn every last one of the five stars they receive. • The Heartbeat of Our Cape Town Trip

  This was our first excursion upon returning to Cape Town for a second year in a row :) It set the tone for our entire trip. We felt very welcomed, safe, and deeply cared for by Tingo. We walked through the beautiful neighborhood of Bo-Kaap, and took lots of gorgeous pictures. We also walked through Langa, which is one of the oldest townships in South Africa. We got to experience how people live there today, and the history that shaped it. We also visit the Slave Lodge Museum, and ended the day at the V&A Waterfront to board the ferry to Robben Island. Standing where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 27 years was incredibly moving. Our tour inside Roben Island was led by a former inmate, which made it even more impactful. This isn’t a tour, but a grounding and emotional introduction to South Africa’s past and present.

  I had an awesome experience learning, and exploring the many adventures of Capetown with Tingo as my tour guide. He was very knowledgeable, and informative on the history.   Spent five amazing days in Capetown under the care of Tingo and his team and highly recommend his Santacruise Tours company! I use the word 'care' deliberately - I have been on guided tours before in Europe, Latin America, and Africa, and this was unlike any of them. Tingo and his team and highly knowledgeable, fully invested in finding out what you want from your trip and getting you to all the places - making adaptations when there are better or safer options, and explaining all of it. There is so much you can see in Capetown, and Tingo's concierge-style services will help you make the most of your time. He will be working for you and his own fantastic Black-owned company, so he will independently choose the best restaurants, parks, museums, sites most appropriate and safest for your travel goals.

Tingo did an amazing job teaching us about the culture and history, taking us to the most beautiful places, and packing in so many fun activities without the schedule being rushed or feeling overwhelming.   Santacruise Tours leaves no stones unturned! The quality, detail, and genuine hospitality is like any I have ever seen. Travel guide is extremely knowledgeable and feels like a family friend. Drivers are courteous and professional, I felt very safe with this company. Views were remarkable and eating selections were fabulous. I am happy to share this review regarding this quality Black owned company. I look forward to my next trip.   If you plan on visiting Cape Town, a full day tour with Tingo is a must! He is an expert of the area and takes you to all the top sights plus leaves room for customization based on what you want to see. For example, he took us to a great coffee shop when I said I wanted coffee and to the botanical gardens when my husband and I needed to relax for a bit. 100% recommend!!!
